Product Description

Tele Snap Meets Strat Sparkle—In One American-Made Hotshot

If you’ve ever wished your Tele could cover Strat duties without losing that unmistakable bite, this American Professional Classic Hotshot Telecaster is exactly that guitar. All the vintage charm, modern stability, and a pickup layout that turns one workhorse into your main axe for every gig.

Coastline Pickups—Tele Bite, Strat Glass

Under the hood you’ve got a killer trio: Coastline ’63 Tele pickups in the neck and bridge with a Coastline ’57 Strat RWRP in the middle. That means classic Tele snap on the ends, with that scooped, quacky Strat thing sitting right in the middle.

The 5-way switch unlocks it all—bridge for punch and cut, neck for warm, vocal leads, and those 2 & 4 positions for glassy chime that love compression, delays, and worship boards. The RWRP middle keeps things quieter in the in-between spots, so you get sparkle without a wall of hum.

Modern “C” Maple Neck—Fast, Familiar, Effortless

The Modern “C” maple neck is that sweet-spot Fender carve—substantial enough to dig into, slim enough that nothing fights you up the neck. Satin urethane on the back means no sticky gloss, just a smooth, broken-in feel right out of the case.

A 9.5″ maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets gives you easy bending and clean chords all the way up the board. Intonation holds solid, and the fretwork lets you run low action without choking out your bends.

Alder Body & Faded Lake Placid Blue Finish

The classic alder Tele body keeps things balanced—tight lows, focused mids, and highs that cut without ever getting brittle. It rings acoustically before you even plug in, which is always a good sign.

The Faded Lake Placid Blue gloss urethane finish is pure Fender eye candy—vintage vibe with a modern shine that’ll pop under stage lights. It looks like a well-loved classic, but plays like a brand-new, tour-ready instrument.

Stage-Ready Hardware That Stays Out of Your Way

A 3-saddle vintage-style Tele bridge with slotted brass barrels brings that traditional Tele snap and sustain, while the string-through-body design keeps things tight and responsive under your right hand. It feels familiar if you’ve lived on Teles, just with a bigger tonal palette on tap.

Fender ClassicGear staggered tuners lock in tuning stability and help with break angle over the nut—less string tree friction, more solid tuning. Nickel/chrome hardware, knurled flat-top knobs, tortoise guard… it’s classic Fender with just enough flair to stand out.

Pro-Level Fender, Dialed In by Real Players

This Hotshot Tele is built in the USA for players who need one guitar that can cover the whole set—country, worship, pop, rock, funk, you name it. SSS versatility, Tele ergonomics, Strat shimmer, and zero drama on stage or in the studio.

Before it leaves our Evansville, Indiana shop, it gets our FREE Player-Perfect™ Pro Setup, is inspected 3x, and ships fast and insured. Plug it in and you’ll know within a few chords—this thing is ready to work.

The Lowdown

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

The big difference is under the hood. The Hotshot keeps the familiar Tele body and feel but swaps in an SSS layout with Coastline ’63 Tele pickups in the neck and bridge and a Coastline ’57 Strat RWRP in the middle. That gives you Tele snap, Strat glass, and 5-way switching, so one guitar can cover parts that would normally require both a Tele and a Strat.
Think of it as a Tele at its core with a healthy dose of Strat DNA. The bridge and neck positions sound and feel like a proper Tele—tight, punchy, and articulate. Kick into the middle or the 2 & 4 positions and you’re squarely in Strat territory with scooped, glassy chime. If you live on both guitars, this hits that sweet spot in between.
You’re still dealing with true single-coils, so positions 1, 3, and 5 will have the usual bit of 60-cycle you expect from a great Fender. The middle pickup is RWRP, though, so positions 2 and 4 are hum-reducing and noticeably quieter. In a mix, that gives you plenty of sparkle without the noise becoming a distraction.
Absolutely. The SSS layout and 5-way switch give you all the clean chime, pad-friendly tones, and driven textures you need for modern worship, plus enough punch for country, rock, and pop gigs. The Modern “C” neck, stable ClassicGear tuners, and comfy weight make it a reliable all-night player—one guitar that can honestly cover the whole set.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our **14-Day Return Policy**. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
