Product Description

The Apex of Strat Performance—For the Lefty Player

This isn’t just another Strat. This is the Fender American Ultra Stratocaster—a state-of-the-art instrument designed for discerning left-handed players who demand the absolute best in precision, performance, and tone. This pre-owned 2021 model in its stunning Cobra Blue finish is in excellent condition and comes with its original hardshell case, ready for the stage or studio. It perfectly blends timeless Fender design with cutting-edge enhancements to create an inspiring, high-performance machine.

Unparalleled Feel and Playability

The magic starts with the neck. The unique Modern “D” profile, combined with a satin urethane finish, feels substantial yet incredibly fast, allowing your hand to glide effortlessly. The real game-changer is the 10″-14″ compound-radius maple fingerboard. This means you get a comfortable, rounded feel for chording near the nut, which flattens out in the upper register for buttery, choke-free bends. Rolled fingerboard edges and 22 medium-jumbo frets complete the package, delivering a playing experience that feels broken-in from the very first note.

Classic Chime Without the Hum

Loaded with a trio of Ultra Noiseless™ Vintage Strat® pickups, this guitar serves up all the iconic, bell-like chime and glassy tones you expect from a great Strat, but without the 60-cycle hum. From warm, articulate neck tones to the bright, cutting attack of the bridge, every sound is pure and pristine. But the sonic versatility doesn’t stop there. The Master Volume knob conceals an S-1™ switch, which adds the neck pickup to positions 1 and 2, unlocking those coveted Tele-style and all-three-pickups-on tones. This isn’t just a Strat; it’s a sonic chameleon.

Built for the Modern Player

Every detail of the American Ultra is engineered for performance. The 2-point deluxe synchronized tremolo with its pop-in arm provides smooth, expressive vibrato action, while the deluxe cast/sealed locking tuners and bone nut ensure rock-solid tuning stability. The alder body’s gloss urethane finish is both beautiful and durable, and the aged white pickguard and knobs give it a touch of classic, road-ready style. This is the ultimate Stratocaster, refined for today’s player.

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

It’s all about speed and comfort. The Modern ‘D’ profile is a happy medium—not too thick, not too thin. The real magic is the 10″-14″ compound radius fingerboard, which is more rounded for chords down low and flattens out for easy bending up high. Combined with the satin finish and rolled edges, it’s one of the most comfortable and playable necks Fender has ever made.
The S-1 switch, hidden in the volume knob, is your secret weapon. When you engage it, it adds the neck pickup to your signal in switch positions 1 and 2. This gives you two killer sounds you can’t get on a standard Strat: the bridge and neck pickups together (like a Telecaster), and all three pickups on at once for a massive, full-bodied tone. It takes you from five great sounds to seven.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
Call us at (888) 794-8482. You’ll talk to a real musician who can answer anything you need to know.
