Product Description

Mint, US-Made Taylor Grand Auditorium

Talk about a find. This pre-owned Taylor 414ce Studio is in stellar, near-mint condition—the factory plastic is still on the pickguard. This is your chance to get into a premium, US-made Grand Auditorium with the game-changing V-Class bracing without the brand-new price tag. The tonewood pairing is a classic for a reason: the articulate attack of a Torrefied Spruce top meets the rich, blooming overtones of Indian Rosewood. The result is a sound that’s both powerful and nuanced, perfect for the discerning player.

The Do-It-All Grand Auditorium

Taylor’s signature Grand Auditorium shape is the sweet spot of acoustic design. It’s big enough to deliver room-filling volume for strumming, but its tapered waist keeps the voice focused and balanced for intricate fingerstyle work. The Venetian cutaway isn’t just for looks—it offers buttery, effortless access to the upper frets, making this a true player’s guitar from top to bottom.

V-Class Bracing: A New Sonic Engine

Under the hood, this 414ce Studio is powered by Taylor’s revolutionary V-Class bracing. This isn’t just a minor tweak; it’s a complete redesign of the acoustic top. You’ll hear the difference immediately. Notes have more power and sustain for days, and the intonation is shockingly true all the way up the neck. Chords ring with a new level of harmonic purity, making this an incredible guitar for recording and live performance where clarity is key.

Stage-Ready ES2 Electronics

The Expression System® 2 captures the dynamic voice of this guitar with stunning accuracy. Taylor’s innovative behind-the-saddle pickup design translates all the nuance of the wood and your playing style into a natural, warm plugged-in tone. Whether you’re heading to an open mic or a stadium gig, the ES2 delivers your sound, authentically.

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

It’s a total redesign of the guitar’s ‘engine.’ Instead of the traditional X-pattern, V-Class bracing boosts volume and sustain by allowing the top to vibrate more freely, while also making the notes incredibly in-tune with each other all the way up the neck. Chords sound purer and fuller—it’s something you can really hear and feel.
Indian Rosewood is a classic for a reason. It produces some of the richest low-end and clearest, bell-like highs you can find. Compared to something like Mahogany, it has a more ‘scooped’ midrange, creating a high-fidelity, full-spectrum sound that’s amazing for recording and solo playing.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
Call us at (888) 794-8482. You’ll talk to a real musician who can answer anything you need to know.
