It eliminates the low-end muddiness some dreadnoughts can have, resulting in clear, powerful bass notes that blend smoothly with the rest of the tonal spectrum.

Torrefaction is a wood roasting process that mimics the natural aging of tonewoods. It removes moisture and other volatile compounds, resulting in a top that is lighter, more resonant, and has the warm, sweet, played-in sound of a vintage instrument. You get old-school tone in a brand new guitar.
