Product Description

That 12-String Jangle You’ve Been Chasing

There’s a certain magic in the shimmer of a 12-string, and this pre-owned Seagull S12 captures it beautifully—without the unwieldy body size you might expect. This one’s in excellent condition, ready to add that lush, chorus-like texture to your songs right out of the box. The Concert Hall body is comfortable to hold, making it a fantastic writing partner, while the generous cutaway gives you effortless access to the upper frets.

Tone Woods That Punch Above Their Weight

The recipe here is classic Seagull, and it works. A solid Spruce top provides the engine for this guitar’s voice—it’s articulate, loud, and projects with a clarity that keeps all twelve strings from turning into mush. Paired with a Wild Cherry back and sides, you get a tone that’s got the warmth of mahogany but with a touch more midrange bite, reminiscent of maple. It’s a sound that records beautifully and sits perfectly in a mix.

Stage-Ready Electronics

When you’re ready to plug in, the onboard Fishman Presys II system is ready to go. It does an exceptional job of translating the guitar’s natural acoustic warmth into a clear, feedback-resistant signal for the stage or studio. With an onboard tuner, volume, and EQ controls, you can quickly dial in your sound without running back to a pedalboard. It’s a no-fuss system that just plain works.

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

It requires a bit more finger strength, but the Seagull’s comfortable neck and 1.9″ nut width make it much more approachable than many vintage 12-strings. It’s a very manageable and rewarding playing experience.
The Concert Hall shape is smaller and more contoured than a dreadnought, making it much more comfortable to play while sitting. It offers a balanced tone that’s focused in the midrange, which is fantastic for recording and preventing boominess.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
Call us at (888) 794-8482. You’ll talk to a real musician who can answer anything you need to know.
