Product Description

High-Gain Hero, Ready for Action

This pre-owned Schecter C-1 Platinum is a straight-up rock and metal machine, built for speed, power, and unapologetic tone. Finished in a killer Satin Purple Burst, this guitar isn’t just about looks—it’s got the hardware and construction to back it up. From the set-neck construction with Schecter’s Ultra Access heel carve to the legendary EMG pickup combo, every detail is dialed in for modern performance.

This one’s in good condition and has that perfect broken-in feel. At 8lbs, it’s solid and resonant without being a shoulder-buster. It’s a player’s guitar, ready to handle punishing rhythms and soaring leads right out of the box.

The Heart of the Beast: EMG 81/85 Pickups

Let’s talk tone. The C-1 Platinum is loaded with one of the most iconic active pickup sets ever made: the EMG 81 in the bridge and the 85 in the neck. The EMG 81 delivers that tight, aggressive, and articulate crunch that has defined modern metal. It has a razor-sharp top end and incredible note clarity, even under the heaviest gain. Switch to the EMG 85 in the neck, and you get a warmer, fatter tone with a muscular low-end—perfect for thick, fluid lead lines and surprisingly rich clean tones.

Built for Speed and Comfort

The 3-piece maple neck is shaped into Schecter’s fast Thin “C” profile, which, combined with a 14″ radius rosewood fretboard and 24 jumbo frets, creates a playground for effortless riffing and shredding. The Ultra Access set-neck joint means you can fly up to the 24th fret without any clunky heel getting in your way. Add in the reliable Grover Rotomatic tuners and a rock-solid TonePros bridge with a string-thru-body design, and you’ve got a guitar with incredible tuning stability and sustain.

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

This guitar is tailor-made for players in the rock and metal worlds. If you need tight, articulate high-gain tones, a fast-playing neck for technical riffing, and rock-solid tuning stability, the C-1 Platinum is built for you.
It’s a game-changer for upper-fret access. Schecter carves away the neck heel to be incredibly smooth and contoured, so there’s nothing obstructing your hand as you reach for the highest notes. It makes playing leads on the upper frets feel effortless.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
Call us at (888) 794-8482. You’ll talk to a real musician who can answer anything you need to know.
