Product Description

A High-Octane V with Vintage Soul

This isn’t just another V—it’s a pre-owned Schecter V-1 Custom from the 2023 Custom Series, and it’s built to perform. Dressed in a stunning Trans Purple over a flamed maple top, this guitar has the looks to match its aggressive tone. But don’t let the shape fool you; this axe is packing a set of Schecter’s own USA-made Pasadena pickups that deliver a nuanced, vintage-hot voice that’s as versatile as it is powerful. It’s in good condition and ready for a new home, complete with its original hardshell case.

Hand-Wound USA Power

The heart of this V-1 is its potent pickup combination. In the bridge, the Schecter USA Pasadena Plus serves up a hot-rodded PAF tone with extra bite and a muscular midrange that just snarls. It’s articulate and punchy, perfect for tight riffing and searing leads. The Pasadena in the neck is warmer and clearer, offering smooth, vocal-like sustain that’s killer for bluesy bends or glassy clean passages. Pull up the tone knob to split the coils, and you unlock a whole new palette of chimey, single-coil sounds.

Built for Speed and Comfort

From the moment you pick it up, the V-1 Custom feels engineered for performance. The 3-piece mahogany neck is carved into a comfortable Thin “C” profile that’s substantial enough for chording but slim enough for lightning-fast runs. Paired with a compound 12″-16″ radius ebony fretboard and 22 X-Jumbo frets, the playability is simply off the charts—chords are comfy down low, and leads are effortless and choke-free up high. The Set-Neck construction with Ultra Access means you can reach every last fret without breaking a sweat.

Rock-Solid Hardware

This guitar is outfitted with hardware that’s built for the stage. A TonePros T3BT bridge with a string-thru-body design maximizes resonance and sustain, ensuring every note rings out with authority. Up top, Schecter Locking tuners provide incredible tuning stability, so you can riff hard without drifting out of tune. Add in the Ernie Ball compensated nut for flawless intonation, and you have a professional-grade instrument that’s ready for any studio session or tour.

Tone

  • Bridge pickup delivers a hot, articulate PAF tone with a punchy midrange and a satisfying growl.
  • Neck pickup is warm and clear, perfect for smooth, vocal-like leads and full-bodied clean tones.
  • The push-pull tone knob splits the humbuckers for glassy, convincing single-coil sounds.
  • Responds beautifully to your picking dynamics, cleaning up nicely when you roll back the volume.

Playing Feel

  • Well-balanced and surprisingly lightweight for its shape, making it comfortable on a strap.
  • The Thin 'C' neck profile and compound radius fretboard offer a modern, fast, and effortless playing experience.
  • The Ultra Access set-neck joint provides unrestricted access to the upper frets.
  • Built for long sessions, whether you're in the studio or playing a full set on stage.

Versatility

  • Excels at everything from gritty blues to high-gain metal, with cleans that are surprisingly warm and clear.
  • The USA pickups provide a great platform for pedals, retaining clarity and definition even with heavy fuzz or delay.
  • A fantastic recording guitar, offering a wide range of humbucking and single-coil tones in one instrument.
  • Cuts through a dense mix with ease, thanks to its focused midrange and articulate voice.

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

They’re Schecter’s own custom-wound pickups made in their USA shop. They’re designed to be a step up from stock pickups, offering a more ’boutique’ or ‘vintage-hot’ flavor. The Pasadena Plus bridge is articulate and powerful, while the neck is smooth and clear, giving you a really versatile, pro-level sound right out of the box.
It’s the best of both worlds. The fretboard is more rounded (12″ radius) down by the nut, which makes playing chords feel really natural and comfortable. As you move up the neck for solos, it gradually flattens out (to 16″), which is ideal for big string bends and fast playing without the notes ‘fretting out’.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
