Product Description

Vintage-Style All-Mahogany Martin Warmth In A Compact 000

Historic mahogany Martins have a vibe you feel in your chest before you even hit a chord. The 000-15M keeps that tradition alive, with an all-solid mahogany 000 body that serves up warm, woody tone and a dry, rootsy response that just begs for songs.

This particular 000-15M (serial 2946344) is an especially lively one, light at about 3.9 pounds and finished in a thin satin that lets the whole guitar breathe. It is a killer way to get into American-made Martins without jumping straight into 18 or 28 Series pricing.

All-Mahogany 000 Body With Vintage Soul

The 000-14 fret body feels compact and comfortable, yet still pushes plenty of air. Solid mahogany top, back, and sides give you that classic Martin midrange push, subtle natural compression, and a focused low end that never gets boomy.

Non-scalloped X-bracing keeps things tight and punchy, so your strumming stays controlled and your fingerpicking lines stay clear. The dark mahogany stain, tortoise pickguard, and simple multi-stripe rosette nail that understated, old-school Americana look.

Neck That Feels Instantly Familiar

The modified low oval neck with standard taper hits that sweet spot between vintage substance and modern comfort. Paired with a 1 11/16 inch bone nut and 25.4 inch scale, it feels fast and relaxed whether you are grabbing first-position chords or stretching up the neck.

East Indian rosewood for the fingerboard and bridge adds a touch of snap and clarity on top of the warm mahogany body. Diamonds and squares abalone inlays give it just the right amount of class without getting flashy.

Warm, Balanced Tone For Flatpickers And Fingerstylists

This is one of those acoustics that does not box you into a single style. Strum it and you get a warm, rounded voice that sits underneath vocals instead of fighting them. Dig in with a flatpick and the attack has enough cut to lead a mix without getting harsh.

Fingerstyle players will love how even it feels string to string. Notes bloom with a soft, glassy top, and the 000 body keeps the response quick and articulate, so complex chords and alternate tunings stay defined.

Pleked, Dialed In, And Ready To Play

From the factory this 000-15M is Pleked, which means fretwork that is crazy consistent across the neck. On top of that, our techs give it a full Player-Perfect setup before it ever leaves Moore Guitars, tailored to the string gauge and action you like.

Bone nut and a compensated bone saddle keep the tone clear and the intonation honest, while open-gear Ping tuners hold tuning with that timeless vintage look. It ships in a Martin soft-shell case, inspected, photographed, and ready to inspire from the first chord.

The Lowdown

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

If you have been chasing that classic Martin thing without jumping straight into the higher series, this is a sweet spot. You get all-solid mahogany construction, American build quality, and a super musical 000 body that feels broken in from day one. It has the vibe and tone of historic mahogany Martins, but in a price range that still leaves room in the budget for a good mic or pedalboard.
Think warm and woody with a dry, rootsy character. The solid mahogany top, back, and sides give you a focused low end, strong mids, and sweet but controlled highs. Non-scalloped X-bracing adds a bit of natural compression, so big strums stay tight and fingerpicked lines pop out with clarity instead of getting muddy.
Honestly, it does both really well. Flatpickers and strummers will dig how the 000 body keeps things punchy and controlled, especially for singer-songwriter and Americana stuff. Fingerstylists get great string-to-string balance, quick response, and enough note separation that alternate tunings and intricate chords still sound clear.
This 000-15M is pure acoustic with no onboard electronics, which keeps it light and resonant. If you need to plug in for stage or studio, reach out and we can talk through pickup options that will complement its warm, balanced voice.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
Call us at (888) 794-8482. You’ll talk to a real musician who can answer anything you need to know.
