Product Description

Vintage ES Tone with Modern Polish

If you’re chasing that classic semi-hollowbody sound but need more shimmer, control, and day-in, day-out reliability, this Gibson ES-345 in Vintage Burst is your guitar. It delivers the airy, three-dimensional bloom of a great semi-hollow with the punch and feedback resistance of a solidbody. Plus, its upgraded appointments give it a custom-shop vibe that looks as good as it sounds.

A Resonant and Focused Foundation

The body is built from a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple laminate paired with a solid maple centerblock the secret sauce for that iconic ES sound. This construction gives you the quick, articulate attack ES models are known for, while the centerblock keeps your tone tight and focused, even with gain. Quarter-sawn Adirondack spruce bracing allows the top to breathe, producing blooming chords and single notes that sing with a vocal-like quality.

That Famous Gibson Feel

The mahogany neck’s Rounded C profile feels like an old friend from the first chord. It’s substantial enough to dig into for big bends and expressive vibrato but slim enough for fast, complex passages. Combined with a 12-inch radius rosewood fingerboard and medium jumbo frets, the playability is pure butter. Bends are effortless, chords ring true, and the Graph Tech nut ensures rock-solid tuning stability.

Clarity, Punch, and Articulation

Here’s the lowdown: the Calibrated T-Type humbuckers are voiced to cut through a mix. They have that perfect upper-mid push that lets you sit right where you need to be, sonically. The neck pickup is warm and full without ever turning to mud, the bridge bites and snarls without any harshness, and the middle position offers a chimey, almost acoustic-like character. Thanks to a hand-wired harness with Orange Drop capacitors, the volume and tone controls are incredibly responsive, letting you clean up your sound just by rolling back the volume.

Built for the Stage and Studio

From the ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and lightweight aluminum stop bar to the Vintage Deluxe keystone tuners, the hardware is all business. It’s built for stability, sustain, and reliability. Dressed in a gorgeous Vintage Burst nitrocellulose lacquer with multi-ply binding and classic black top hat knobs, this ES-345 has a timeless look. It ships in a hardshell case with the Gibson accessory kit, and with our free pro setup and 72-Hour Love-It Guarantee, it’s ready for the gig right out of the box.

The Lowdown

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

They’re voiced specifically for clarity and punch, giving you that classic ES push in the midrange without getting muddy. They are designed to be articulate and responsive to your playing dynamics and the guitar’s volume and tone controls, thanks to the hand-wired harness.
Adirondack spruce is a premium tonewood known for its high stiffness-to-weight ratio. In this ES-345, it allows the top to vibrate more freely, which enhances the guitar’s natural resonance and ‘bloom.’ It adds a layer of acoustic-like complexity and openness to the sound that you can feel as much as you can hear.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 72-Hour Love-It Guarantee. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
Orders ship within 1–4 business days with free, insured shipping. We’ll get it into your hands as quickly as we can.
