This Custom is loaded with a perfectly matched set of Gibson humbuckers: a 490R in the neck and a 498T in the bridge. The 490R serves up warm, classic PAF-style tones with incredible clarity, perfect for rhythm playing or smooth, vocal-like leads. Kick over to the 498T, and you unleash a hotter, more aggressive voice with a pronounced upper-midrange bite that cuts through any mix. The hand-wired harness with 500K CTS pots ensures that your volume and tone controls are responsive and musical, cleaning up beautifully as you roll them back.
