Product Description

A Modern Les Paul For Today’s Player

This isn’t your grandpa’s Les Paul. This pre-owned 2026 Gibson Les Paul Modern combines the timeless soul of a classic LP with a full suite of modern enhancements designed for pure performance. Dressed in a stunning Seafoam Green finish over a figured AAA maple top, it’s a visual knockout. But the real magic happens when you plug it in. The Ultra-Modern weight relief means you can play for hours without the backache, while the contoured heel provides effortless access to the upper frets for screaming solos.

Sonic Versatility on Tap

The heart of this guitar is its powerful and versatile electronics. A Burstbucker Pro in the neck and a hotter Burstbucker Pro+ in the bridge deliver that classic, meaty Les Paul tone, but with extra clarity and bite thanks to their Alnico 5 magnets. But that’s just the start. Each of the four knobs is a push/pull pot, unlocking a world of new sounds. You get coil-tapping on both volume knobs for glassy single-coil tones, a phase switch on the neck tone for that funky, hollowed-out sound, and a pure bypass on the bridge tone that sends your signal straight to the jack for the most direct, aggressive tone possible.

Effortless Playability

From the moment you pick it up, this Les Paul feels different. The mahogany neck features Gibson’s popular SlimTaper profile, but with a modern asymmetrical carve that fits naturally in your hand. Combined with a compound radius ebony fingerboard, it’s built for speed and comfort. Bending notes is a breeze, and complex chords ring out with perfect clarity up and down the neck. Add in the Grover locking Rotomatic tuners, and you’ve got a guitar that’s as reliable as it is inspiring. This guitar is in excellent condition and has never been played, but was damaged in transit.

Anatomy of a Tone Machine

Anatomy of a Tone Machine

Perfect for: Rock • Blues • Metal • Fusion

Tone

  • The Burstbucker Pro+ in the bridge has a fatter, meatier tone with more drive and attack than a vintage PAF.
  • In the neck, the Burstbucker Pro offers sweet harmonic complexity and crystalline clarity.
  • The middle position can be switched out of phase for a classic 'Peter Green' style hollow, squawky tone.
  • Responds instantly to your pick attack, cleaning up nicely when you roll back the volume.

Playing Feel

  • The Ultra-Modern weight relief makes this Les Paul noticeably lighter and more comfortable than traditional models.
  • The asymmetrical SlimTaper neck profile and compound radius ebony fingerboard feel fast and modern, perfect for both chording and soloing.
  • The Modern Contoured Heel allows for unparalleled access to the highest frets without any obstruction.
  • A true player's guitar, it's built for long gigs and studio sessions where comfort is key.

Versatility

  • Goes from thick, classic humbucker grit to sparkling single-coil chime with the pull of a knob.
  • The Alnico 5 magnets in the Burstbucker Pros handle high-gain pedals and amps beautifully, staying tight and articulate.
  • In the studio, the phase and bypass options provide a huge palette of sounds from a single instrument.
  • Cuts through a dense mix with authority, thanks to the added clarity and punch of the pickups.

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

The compound radius is a killer feature for players. It’s rounder (10″) down by the nut, which makes chording feel super comfortable and natural. As you move up the neck for solos and bends, it flattens out (to 16″), which allows for a lower action without notes fretting out. It’s the best of both worlds.
Extremely. On their own, they have that classic Gibson power but with more modern clarity. But the real magic is the push/pull pots. You can get convincing single-coil tones for funk or country, flip the phase for classic bluesy sounds, or engage the pure bypass for a raw, unfiltered rock tone that hits your amp harder. It’s like having multiple guitars in one.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 72-Hour Love-It Guarantee. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
Orders ship same day in most cases and arrive within 1-4 business days with free, insured shipping. We’ll get it into your hands as quickly as we can.
