Product Description

The Real Deal: A Pre-Owned ’60s Les Paul Standard

This isn’t just another Les Paul. This is a pre-owned 2025 Gibson Les Paul Standard ’60s in a stunning Dirty Lemon Burst, and it’s got that broken-in feel and resonant soul that only comes from a guitar that’s already started its story. Built for the player who craves classic rock horsepower with a faster, more modern feel, this guitar is a certified rock and roll machine, now at a price that puts it within reach.

Vintage Voice with a Modern Edge

At the heart of this Les Paul are the 60s Burstbucker pickups. These humbuckers are wound to capture the magic of the original PAFs but with Alnico V magnets for a bit more bite and clarity. The bridge pickup serves up a tight, articulate punch that cuts through any mix, while the neck pickup is all warmth and creamy sustain, perfect for buttery leads and thick rhythm work. Hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors, the controls are incredibly responsive, letting you clean up your tone just by rolling back the volume.

Effortless Playability

The SlimTaper neck profile is where this guitar truly shines for the modern player. It’s a comfortably thin D-shape that’s built for speed and long-session comfort, letting you fly across the Indian Rosewood fretboard without fighting a baseball bat neck. Combined with 22 medium jumbo frets and a 12-inch radius, bending strings and chording complex voicings feels effortless. The non-weight-relieved mahogany body delivers that signature Les Paul sustain that rings for days, a solid foundation for its powerful voice.

Iconic Looks and Rock-Solid Hardware

Finished in a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, the figured maple top on this Dirty Lemon Burst is pure eye candy. The nickel hardware, including the classic ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and Grover Rotomatic tuners, provides period-correct looks with unshakable tuning stability. This guitar is in excellent condition and comes with its original hardshell case, ready for the studio or the stage.

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

The biggest difference comes down to the neck profile and pickups. This ’60s model has the faster, thinner SlimTaper neck, which many modern players prefer. The 60s Burstbucker pickups also have Alnico V magnets for a slightly brighter, hotter, and more aggressive tone compared to the Alnico II magnets in the ’50s models.
It means the mahogany body is a solid slab of wood, just like the originals. This gives the guitar a substantial, solid feel and contributes to that legendary, long-sustaining tone that Les Pauls are famous for. You can feel the whole guitar resonate against your body when you play.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
Orders ship same day in most cases and arrive within 1-4 business days with free, insured shipping. We’ll get it into your hands as quickly as we can.
