Product Description

50s Jazzmaster Vibe, Broken In And Stage Ready

This Limited Edition Vintera II Road Worn 50s Jazzmaster nails that classic offset feel: chimey, expressive, and just a little bit dangerous. You get the look, touch, and tone of a well loved vintage Fender without gambling on a 60 year old guitar.

Real talk, if you live for surf swells, jangly indie parts, or lush ambient textures, this thing gets you there with zero fuss. It feels like an old friend the first time you strap it on.

Road Worn Nitro, Real 50s Character

The alder Jazzmaster body is finished in Road Worn nitrocellulose lacquer in Fiesta Red, so it already has that gently broken in look and feel. The thinner, aged nitro lets the body ring and breathe instead of feeling choked under a thick plastic gloss.

The worn edges and subtle checking are there for a reason: the guitar just feels more alive against your body. It looks like a stage veteran but plays with the reliability of a brand new Fender.

Late 50s C Neck With Vintage Radius

The maple neck is carved into a late 50s C that fills your hand without turning into a baseball bat. It is substantial enough to dig in and control your vibrato, but comfortable enough to get you through long rehearsals and three set nights.

A slab rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25 inch radius and vintage tall frets gives you that classic Fender feel with extra grip under your fingers. Chords feel effortless, slides are smooth, and bends have that controlled, vocal quality instead of fretting out.

Vintage Style Jazzmaster Pickups And Circuits

Under the hood you get a pair of vintage style 50s single coil Jazzmaster pickups that deliver the sweet top end, woody mids, and clear low end that made offsets legendary. Clean, they have piano like clarity and glassy chime; pushed, they take on a gritty edge that still keeps every note defined.

The classic lead and rhythm circuits are all here. Flip into the lead circuit for brighter, cutting sounds with master volume and tone, or slide up into the rhythm circuit for a darker, rounder neck pickup voice with its own thumbwheel volume and tone. It is like having two presets on the guitar, ready to go mid song.

Floating Tremolo For Shimmer And Sway

The vintage style floating tremolo with lock and pop in arm gives you that elastic Jazzmaster feel under your picking hand. Subtle shimmer, slow surf warbles, or wide, dramatic shakes all feel smooth and controllable.

The 6 saddle adjustable bridge keeps the intonation dialed and lets you fine tune your setup to match your strings and playing style. Once you get used to this trem, it is hard to go back to anything else.

The Actual Guitar In Our Shop, Dialed In For You

This specific guitar, serial MX25102141, weighs in at 7.8 pounds, so it feels solid without wearing you out. It is hanging in our Evansville, Indiana shop right now, not sitting in some warehouse.

Every Fender we sell gets our full Player Perfect setup from a tech who actually gigs. Tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout and we will dial it in before it ships. Photos are of the actual guitar, it is inspected three times, and it leaves here ready to hit a session or a stage, not just your couch.

The Lowdown

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

The Road Worn treatment is all about feel and vibe, not fake abuse. The nitro has been tastefully aged so it looks and feels like a well played 50s style Jazzmaster, with worn edges and a broken in surface where your arm and hand naturally land. It still has full structural integrity, it just skips the stiff, plasticky feel of a thick factory gloss.
Think of it like having two presets on the guitar. The lead circuit (slide switch down) gives you your usual master volume and tone for bright, cutting parts. Slide up into the rhythm circuit and you get a darker, rounder neck pickup sound with its own thumbwheel volume and tone. You can set that for smoky jazz chords or mellow swells, then flip between the two mid song without touching your pedals.
A Jazzmaster floating trem feels smoother and more elastic under your hand. It is great for subtle shimmer, slow surf warble, and wide, dramatic vibrato without the springy snap of a Strat style unit. With the lock button and a proper setup, it gives you a ton of expressive control while keeping the guitar feeling stable and predictable.
Fender built the Vintera II Road Worn 50s Jazzmaster as a Limited Edition run with vintage inspired colors and an aged nitro finish that recreates the look and feel of a well loved original. You are getting a more vintage correct experience than a typical production offset, with specs and cosmetics aimed squarely at players who love classic Jazzmasters.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
In-stock gear typically ships within 1-2 business days (Mon-Fri). Most orders arrive in 1-4 business days via UPS Ground, depending on your distance from Indiana. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
