Product Description

Vintage Soul, Modern Fire

This isn’t just another Strat—it’s a time capsule with a hot-rodded engine. This Fender Custom Shop LTD ’57 Stratocaster combines the best of the vintage world with modern player-focused upgrades. The Faded Daphne Blue finish is beautifully broken-in with heavy checking and tasteful relic’ing, telling a story of countless gigs and sessions. From the deep ’57 body contours to the gold hardware, every detail feels authentic and inspiring. This one’s in mint condition and ready to rip.

Spicy Poblano Pickups

Here’s where the magic happens. This Strat is loaded with a calibrated set of hand-wound Ancho Poblano pickups. These aren’t your average vintage-output single-coils; they’re overwound for a hotter, fatter tone that pushes your amp into sweet overdrive. The Alnico 3 magnets in the neck and middle positions keep things warm and glassy, while the Alnico 5 in the bridge delivers a fiery punch with incredible dynamic response. Roll back the volume, and they clean up beautifully. Dig in, and they absolutely sing.

The Perfect Playing Feel

This guitar feels like an old friend from the moment you pick it up. The neck is carved from a solid piece of 5/4 quarter-sawn maple into a supremely comfortable ’57 Style Soft “V” profile. It’s substantial without being a baseball bat, with a smooth, worn-in feel. The 9.5″ radius and Narrow Tall frets are a perfect combo for easy bending and chording, giving you a modern playing experience on a classic-feeling neck. The heavy fret ghosting just adds to the killer vintage vibe.

Anatomy of a Tone Machine

Anatomy of a Tone Machine

Perfect for: Blues • Rock • Classic Rock • Funk

Tone

  • Fiery, overwound bridge pickup with a punchy Alnico 5 magnet that cuts through any mix.
  • Warm, glassy, and articulate neck tones courtesy of a sweet-sounding Alnico 3 magnet.
  • Classic "in-between" quack in positions 2 and 4, perfect for rhythm and funk.
  • Extremely responsive to picking dynamics; cleans up beautifully with the volume knob.

Playing Feel

  • Feels balanced and resonant, with deep '57 contours that hug your body.
  • The '57 Soft "V" neck is a dream—substantial enough for big chords but comfortable for lead work.
  • The 9.5" radius and Narrow Tall frets make for effortless, modern-feeling bends without fretting out.
  • A true workhorse that feels broken-in and ready for hours-long gigs right out of the case.

Versatility

  • Goes from sparkling vintage cleans to fat, gritty overdrive just by digging in.
  • The overwound pickups absolutely love pedals, handling fuzz, overdrive, and delay with ease.
  • A studio secret weapon—records beautifully, sitting perfectly in a dense track.
  • Cuts with authority live, ensuring you're heard whether the amp is clean or screaming.

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

They’re custom-calibrated and overwound for a hotter output. While they still have that classic Strat sparkle, they push an amp harder, giving you more grit and midrange punch. The Alnico 3 and 5 magnet combo is key—it keeps the neck pickup smooth while making the bridge pickup extra fiery.
It’s a really comfortable middle ground. It has a subtle ‘V’ shape, especially down by the nut, which feels great for thumb-over players and chording. As you move up the neck, it flattens out a bit, making it fast and comfortable for solos. It’s got more shoulder than a modern ‘C’ but isn’t a huge ‘baseball bat’ neck.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 72-Hour Love-It Guarantee. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
