Product Description

A Strat That Breathes Fire and Soul

Here’s the lowdown on a truly special axe—a 2016 Limited Edition American Standard Stratocaster that breaks from the pack. Forget maple—this beast is built around a stunning, solid rosewood neck. That’s not just a spec, my friend. It’s a game-changer for tone and feel. The resonance is off the charts, delivering a warmth and a complex bloom to every note that you just don’t get from a standard Strat. Paired with an alder body in a classic 3-Color Sunburst, this guitar has a look and voice that’s both timeless and totally unique.

Custom Shop Powerhouse

Under the hood, you’ll find a trio of Fender Custom Shop Fat ’50s single-coils. These pickups are the real deal—delivering all the glassy, bell-like chime you expect, but with a muscular low-end punch that adds serious authority. The bridge pickup has a satisfying bite without being harsh, the neck is pure buttery warmth, and those in-between positions? Absolute quack-and-spank heaven. The no-load tone control for the middle and bridge pickups is a secret weapon, taking the pot completely out of the circuit when dimed, giving you the raw, unadulterated sound of the pickup straight to your amp.

Unmatched Playing Experience

That solid rosewood neck isn’t just for looks. The Modern “C” profile and 9.5″ radius feel instantly comfortable, like an old friend. The hand-rubbed oil finish is smooth and fast, never sticky, letting your hand glide effortlessly up and down the fretboard. From the two-point synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles to the deluxe staggered tuners, every piece of this guitar is built for performance and stability. This pre-owned gem is in Very Good condition, ready to hit the stage or the studio and comes complete with its original hardshell case.

The Lowdown

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

A solid rosewood neck, compared to a standard maple neck, tends to warm up the guitar’s overall voice. It adds a certain richness and resonance, smoothing out the high-end while providing a complex, blooming character to the notes. It’s a feel and a sound you have to experience.
It’s a clever circuit Fender uses. From 1 to 9, it works like a normal tone control. But when you turn it all the way up to 10, it has a click that completely removes the capacitor and potentiometer from the circuit. This gives you the raw, unfiltered sound of your pickup, with a touch more volume and high-end sparkle.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
