Product Description

Race-Ready Attitude, Custom Shop Feel

Some guitars just scream performance. The Epiphone Futura Les Paul Custom in Rally Red isn’t just a guitar; it’s a statement. With its bold racing stripe over a figured maple top, this axe looks like it’s ready to tear up the track, and trust us, it’s got the engine to back it up. This isn’t your grandpa’s Les Paul. It’s a modern machine built for players who demand more, combining timeless style with features that are all about high performance.

Modern Neck for Unrestricted Playing

Get ready for a neck that feels like it was made just for you. The Modern C profile is comfortable and fast, perfect for chording or blazing leads. The real magic, though, is the compound 10″ to 14″ radius on the ebony fingerboard. It’s rounder down low for easy chords and flattens out as you move up, making big bends and fast runs feel effortless. Add in 22 stainless steel frets, and you have a playing surface that’s buttery smooth and built to last.

Versatile ProBucker Ignite Pickups

The heart of this beast is a pair of Epiphone ProBucker Ignite humbuckers. These pickups are voiced for a powerful, articulate sound that can handle anything you throw at them. But the versatility is where they truly shine. Each volume and tone knob has a push/pull function, giving you access to coil-splitting for glassy single-coil tones and a phase switch for those classic, hollowed-out sounds. From searing high-gain to pristine cleans, this Les Paul covers an incredible amount of sonic ground.

Rock-Solid Hardware

Every piece of hardware is chosen for stability and sustain. The Grover locking Rotomatic tuners and the LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece work together to ensure this guitar stays in tune, no matter how hard you play. The multi-ply binding, split-block inlays, and nickel hardware complete the custom look, making this a guitar that performs as good as it looks.

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

It’s the best of both worlds. The fingerboard has a 10-inch radius near the nut, which is more curved and comfortable for playing chords. As you move up the neck for solos, it gradually flattens out to a 14-inch radius, which is fantastic for string bending without the notes fretting out. It makes the guitar feel incredibly natural to play all over the neck.
A massive amount. The coil-splitting on the volume pots gives you access to crisp, single-coil sounds that are great for funk, pop, or cleaner blues tones. The phase switch on the tone pot gives you that hollowed-out, ‘Peter Green’ style sound when both pickups are active. It dramatically expands the guitar’s sonic palette beyond what you’d expect from a standard Les Paul.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
Orders ship same day in most cases and arrive within 1-4 business days with free, insured shipping. We’ll get it into your hands as quickly as we can.
