Dunlop Crybaby 535Q Multi-Wah Pedal

The 535Q Cry Baby Multi-Wah features a six-position Range Selector, a Variable Q control, and a switchable boost circuit so you can dial in the ultimate wah tone.

Specifications

POWER:

The 535Q Cry Baby Multi-Wah is powered by one 9-volt battery (accessed via the bottom of the pedal), an AC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003, or the DC Brick ™ and Iso-Brick power supplies.

CONTROLS:

RANGE SELECTOR knob sets tonal range of 535Q’s sweep

VOLUME knob controls amount of gain added by BOOST switch, up to 16dB

VARIABLE Q knob controls the width of the 535Q’s bandpass

BOOST switch increases output as set by the VOLUME knob

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS:

Run an instrument cable from your guitar to the 535Q’s INSTRUMENT jack and another instrument cable from the 535Q’s AMPLIFIER jack into your amplifier’s input.

Push the toe of the pedal down until you feel a “click” to turn the pedal on/off.

Rotate the RANGE SELECTOR knob clockwise for a lower frequency range or counterclockwise for a higher frequency range.

Rotate the VARIABLE Q knob clockwise for a narrower bandpass to emphasize higher end harmonics or counterclock – wise for a wider bandpass that empha – sizes lower end harmonics. To increase the 535Q’s output, engage the BOOST switch and rotate the VOLUME control clockwise to increase the amount of gain, up to 16dB, or counterclockwise to decrease it.

Rock your foot back and forth on the pedal to hear the vocal, expressive tones that the Cry Baby Wah is famous for.
