Based on a scaled-down version of the original Taylor Grand Symphony body shape, this guitar has sold more units then some competing brands total output! That's saying something! Anyone can make a small guitar - that's the easy part. The hard part is making one that is only 36" long, that has tremendous sound output while using the smaller body; one that can be tuned to accurate pitch, and most importantly - one that actually plays in tune! That's where Taylor succeeds and others quite frankly, don't. In most cases, shorter scale guitars have trouble "playing in tune" - but you won't find that issue here at all - there are many pro players that will actually perform with these guitars, and they are always at the ready!
