Product Description

Private Stock Vibe, Real-World Price

If you have ever picked up a high end PRS and thought “man, I wish I could afford this,” this SE Zach Myers is your way in. Semi hollow resonance, humbucker punch, and a satin neck that feels broken in the second you grab it.

Chambered Mahogany Body With Natural Reverb

The chambered mahogany body with a single f hole gives this guitar that airy, 3D response you usually only get from boutique semi hollows. Notes bloom, chords have a built in room reverb, and the midrange stays smooth instead of honky.

A maple cap with flame maple veneer keeps the attack focused so your riffs still cut when the gain comes up. Finished in Myers Blue, it has the stage look to match the sound without screaming for attention.

Wide Fat Neck, Satin Smooth Feel

The Wide Fat mahogany neck is substantial in your hand in all the right ways. It fills your palm so you feel connected to every note, without turning into a baseball bat.

The satin finish keeps things fast and non sticky under hot lights or long sessions. The 24.5″ scale length and 22 fret, 10″ radius rosewood board make bends feel slinky and controlled, with enough curve to feel comfortable for chords.

245 “S” Humbuckers: Sweetness With Punch

PRS 245 “S” pickups bring that mix of high end clarity and low end authority that Zach leans on in Shinedown. They stay tight under gain, but there is a sweetness on top that keeps leads singing instead of shrill.

With two volumes, two tones, and a 3 way toggle, you can park this guitar in one spot on your amp and cover a whole set. Roll the bridge tone back for chewy rock crunch, open up the neck for glassy cleans, or blend both for big, piano like rhythm sounds.

Stage Ready Hardware And Smart Details

The PRS adjustable stoptail keeps intonation dialed and transfer of vibration direct into the body. Vintage style tuners and the PRS nut keep tuning rock solid, even with aggressive bends and big chords.

Details like the bird inlays, “Zach Myers” truss rod cover, and SE headstock logo remind you this is a real artist model, not a parts-bin mashup. You also get a PRS gigbag so it is ready to head to rehearsal or the next gig.

Built To Take A Beating, Priced For Everyone

Zach designed this as a true working player’s guitar, something that could survive the road yet still feel like a special instrument every time you plug in. Real talk, for this price point the feel and tone are ridiculous.

This exact guitar is in our Evansville, Indiana shop right now, inspected three times and dialed in with our Player-Perfect setup. Tell us how you like your action and strings, and we will ship it out fast so you can put it straight to work.

The Lowdown

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

This SE is obviously not a hand-built Private Stock, but the feel and vibe land way closer than the price would make you think. The chambered body, Wide Fat neck, and 245 “S” pickups all come from the same design language as the higher-end PRS models. You get that familiar PRS snap, sustain, and attention to detail, just in a more affordable, road-ready package that you will not be afraid to actually gig.
The chambering and single f hole give you extra resonance and bloom, but it is still a compact singlecut footprint, not a big fully hollow jazz box. In practical terms, it stays controlled on loud stages and with high gain as long as you use reasonable positioning and muting. You get the sweetness and air of a semi hollow without runaway howl every time you face your cab.
Wide Fat on a PRS is more about a comfortable, rounded carve than raw size. It fills the hand in a way that feels supportive for chords and bends, but the shoulders are soft so it does not feel like an old-school baseball bat. Players with average or even smaller hands usually adapt quickly and end up loving how relaxed their fretting hand feels.
The 24.5″ scale sits right in that sweet spot where the strings feel a bit slinkier than a traditional 24.75″ singlecut, especially for bends and vibrato. You can run slightly heavier gauges without feeling like you are fighting the guitar, and chords still intonate and ring clearly. It is a very comfortable middle ground for rock, blues, and worship players.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
In-stock gear typically ships within 1-2 business days (Mon-Fri). Most orders arrive in 1-4 business days via UPS Ground, depending on your distance from Indiana. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
