Product Description

Vintage Heart, Modern Fire

This isn’t just another Les Paul. This is a 2012 Les Paul Tribute in a stunning Chicago Blue finish, a guitar that perfectly captures the spirit of the ’50s while delivering the consistency of modern Gibson craftsmanship. From the moment you pick it up, the traditional weight-relieved mahogany body and carved maple top feel resonant and alive. It’s got that classic heft and sustain you expect, but with a comfort that’ll keep you playing all night long.

The Neck You Know and Love

The soul of this guitar lies in its neck. The chunky, satisfying ’50s style profile is a dream for players who love to dig in. It’s substantial without being a baseball bat, giving you a solid foundation for big bends and greasy blues runs. The rosewood fingerboard, with its classic 12″ radius and 22 frets, feels like an old friend—smooth, fast, and effortlessly playable.

Authentic PAF Tone

Under the hood, this Les Paul is pure vintage horsepower. A ’57 Classic in the neck and a slightly hotter ’57 Classic Plus in the bridge deliver that coveted PAF humbucker tone. The neck pickup is warm, creamy, and articulate—perfect for glassy clean tones and soulful leads. Kick over to the bridge, and the ’57 Classic Plus gives you more bite, punch, and midrange growl that drives an amp into sweet, singing overdrive. This is the sound that defined a generation of rock and blues.

Ready for the Stage and Studio

This pre-owned Tribute is in Very Good Condition and comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case. It’s been PLEK’d for precision playability, and every component—from the Kluson-style Tone Pros tuners to the classic Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge is built for rock-solid performance. This is your chance to own a piece of Gibson history with the tone and feel that legends are made of.

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

It’s a nice, rounded C-shape that has some real substance to it. It’s not a slim-taper neck, but it’s not a huge ‘baseball bat’ either. It feels great for players who like to anchor their thumb on the back and really dig into bends.
They’re both based on the original PAF humbuckers from the late ’50s. The ’57 Classic in the neck is wound to vintage specs for a warm, clear tone. The ’57 Classic Plus in the bridge is slightly overwound, giving it a higher output for more crunch, bite, and sustain when you’re playing lead.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
