Product Description

Road worn 60s Strat feel without hunting down a vintage original

If you love that played in 60s Strat thing but do not want to baby a museum piece, this Vintera II Limited Edition Road Worn 60s Stratocaster hits the bullseye. Nitro finish, slab rosewood board, and vintage voiced pickups give you the snap, bloom, and chime you hear on your favorite records, with a neck that feels broken in from the first chord.

Road Worn nitro that looks and feels like the real deal

The alder body is classic Strat recipe for a reason – punchy mids, tight low end, and a clear top that never gets brittle. Fender tops it with a Road Worn nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Lake Placid Blue, so it already has that lightly broken in vibe instead of new guitar shine.

The nitro finish is thinner than modern poly, which means the body can actually resonate and breathe. You feel the notes bloom against your ribs when you dig in, and the worn edges and subtle checking make it feel like an old friend instead of a showroom piece you are afraid to scratch.

60s C neck that disappears in your hands

The 60s C neck carve is the sweet spot between vintage chunk and modern slim. It fills your hand just enough for vibrato control but never fights you on fast lines or big stretches.

A slab rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5 inch radius and medium jumbo frets gives you all the room you need for buttery bends and wide vibrato without fretting out. The Road Worn nitro on the back of the neck knocks the gloss down so it feels smooth and non sticky, like a neck that has seen years of gigs instead of a few minutes on the bench.

Vintage 60s Strat tones with modern switching

Under the hood you get a trio of vintage style 60s single coil Strat pickups in an SSS layout. They deliver that glassy top, woody midrange, and warm low end that made these guitars legends.

The 5 way switch unlocks all the classic positions. Bridge for bite and cut, neck for syrupy, vocal leads, and the in between 2 and 4 spots for that scooped, quacky chime that loves funk, worship, and clean rhythm parts. Roll your volume back and it cleans up into a shimmering, almost acoustic like response. Push your amp and it gives you just the right grit and edge.

Vintage style trem that stays musical

The 6 saddle vintage style synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles keeps the response springy and expressive. Set it up to float for shimmery vibrato or deck it for rock solid tuning and extra snap.

Fender vintage style tuners and the classic 6 screw trem mounting keep things stable as long as you set it up right and stretch your strings. Use it for tasteful dips and warbles and it will stay true, so you can lean into the trem arm instead of avoiding it.

Limited run, dialed in by real players

This is a limited edition take on the Vintera II Road Worn 60s Stratocaster, and this exact guitar is the one in the photos, serial MX24091852. At 8 pounds it sits right in the comfort zone for long sets without feeling flimsy.

Every guitar that hits our bench gets a full Player Perfect setup and gets inspected more than once before we ship it. Real talk: you should have zero disappointment when you crack the case and hit that first chord. If you want to talk neck feel, compare this to other Strats, or just get a no nonsense rundown, we are here for it.

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

The Road Worn finish is all about feel and vibe, not fake damage. You will see tasteful edge wear, light checking, and a dulled gloss that makes it look and feel like a well loved 60s Strat, not a relic that has been dragged behind a truck. The neck in particular feels broken in and smooth, so you get that played for decades feel right out of the case.
You are getting classic Fender DNA here: alder body, slab rosewood board, nitro finish, and vintage style pickups. The big difference is that this one is built in Mexico instead of the USA, which keeps the price friendlier without losing the vibe. Feel wise, the 60s C neck and 9.5 inch radius will feel familiar if you have played modern American Strats, but the Road Worn nitro and aging give it a more broken in, vintage inspired character.
It sits right between the two. The 60s C profile has that classic rounded feel that vintage fans love, but the 9.5 inch radius and medium jumbo frets are more modern and player friendly. You get the comfort and vibe of an old neck with the bending and playability of a newer instrument, which is exactly where most players want to be.
Yes, as long as it is set up right and you use it for musical vibrato and dips, not extreme dive bombs. The 6 screw vintage bridge with bent steel saddles feels smooth under the hand, and the Fender vintage tuners hold tune well once the strings are stretched. We can set it up floating or decked before it leaves our shop, depending on how you like to use the bar.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
Call us at (888) 794-8482. You’ll talk to a real musician who can answer anything you need to know.
