Product Description

Offset classic vibe with surfy chime, slick feel, and serious value

If you’ve been Jazzmaster-curious but not ready to drop vintage money, this Squier Classic Vibe ’60s Jazzmaster in Tahitian Coral hits that sweet spot. You get the real offset experience – chimey single coils, dual circuits, floating trem – in a guitar that feels inspiring right out of the box.

Dual Fender Designed pickups and real Jazzmaster circuits

The heart of this one is the pair of Fender Designed alnico single coil pickups. The bridge brings that bright, glassy cut that loves spring reverb and edge-of-breakup amps. Flip to the neck and it gets round and buttery, perfect for leads, chords, and ambient lines that just bloom.

Then you get the classic Jazzmaster lead and rhythm circuits. In lead mode you have master volume and tone for your main sound. Kick into the rhythm circuit and it dials up a darker, smoother neck-pickup voice with its own volume and tone wheels. Set one for cleans, the other for grit, and you can flip between two worlds with a flick of the slide switch.

Comfortable slim C neck and an easy-playing board

The slim C-shaped maple neck feels instantly familiar if you are coming from a Strat or Tele. It fills the hand just enough without ever feeling like a baseball bat, so long sets stay comfortable.

The 9.5 inch radius Indian Laurel fingerboard and narrow tall frets make bends feel buttery while keeping chords clean and controlled. Intonation stays solid up and down the neck, and the tinted gloss neck finish gives you that vintage look with a smooth, slick feel.

Floating vibrato built for surf, shoegaze, and beyond

The vintage-style floating tremolo invites you to lean into all the shimmer and wobble Jazzmasters are famous for. Gentle chord shimmers, subtle vibrato on single notes, or more dramatic dives – it all feels smooth and controlled under your picking hand.

The 6-saddle vintage-style bridge keeps things intonated and stable. Paired with the bone nut and proper setup, it keeps tuning on track even if you are working that arm all night.

Tahitian Coral looks with true ’60s-inspired details

The Tahitian Coral gloss finish is pure stage candy. Under lights it pops hard, especially against the 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard and aged white plastics. It has that perfect mix of retro cool and modern swagger.

1960s-inspired headstock markings, nickel-plated hardware, and the vintage-tint gloss neck pull the whole look together. It feels like a well-loved offset from the record collection, without the vintage-price stress.

Dialed in by real players and ready to rip

This Jazzmaster comes in at about 8 pounds, which means it balances nicely on a strap or in your lap without weighing you down. The offset body shape hugs your ribcage when you are seated and hangs just right when you stand up and dig in.

Here is the lowdown: photos are of the actual guitar, it is inspected three times, and it gets our full Player-Perfect setup before it leaves the shop. Tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout and we will dial it in with the stock 9-42s or something heavier if you prefer.

Only one is in stock right now in this exact Tahitian Coral finish. When it is gone, that exact feel and weight are gone with it.

The Lowdown

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

The Classic Vibe ’60s Jazzmaster is built as an affordable homage to the original offset. Real talk: the dual Fender Designed alnico pickups, full lead/rhythm circuit, floating trem, and offset body all deliver the core Jazzmaster experience. The neck is a comfortable slim C with a 9.5″ radius and narrow tall frets, so it plays a bit more “modern” than many actual ’60s examples, but the tonal palette lives firmly in that classic chimey, surfy Jazzmaster world.
Set up right, yes. The vintage-style floating vibrato and 6-saddle bridge are designed to work together. Our techs dial in the bridge height, trem spring tension, and bone nut so the arm feels smooth and the guitar comes back to pitch reliably, especially with the stock 9–42 gauge set. If you have a specific tuning or style in mind (heavy trem use, alternate tunings, etc.), tell us at checkout and we will fine-tune the setup for that.
Absolutely. The slim C neck will feel familiar, and the 25.5″ scale length is the same as your Strat or Tele. The offset body just balances a little differently and actually feels great once you get used to it. You gain the extra tonal options of the lead/rhythm circuits and the floating trem, so you can cover your usual sounds and then go explore all the ambient, surf, and shoegaze textures Jazzmasters are known for.
You are getting a full-featured offset: Fender Designed alnico pickups, real Jazzmaster wiring with lead and rhythm circuits, a vintage-style floating trem, bone nut, and a slick vintage-tint neck. On top of that, the Tahitian Coral finish, tort guard, nickel hardware, and ’60s headstock details give it serious vibe. When we layer in our Player-Perfect setup and 3x inspection, it punches well above its price tag for both feel and tone.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
