Product Description

Red Hot Custom Shop Strat With Attitude For Days

This LTD Red Hot Stratocaster is what happens when the Fender Custom Shop cranks a classic 60s Strat up to 11. Lightweight ash, a vicious set of Hot Rod pickups, and a Super Heavy Relic finish that feels like it has lived on the road for decades.

If you want a Strat that snaps, sings, and looks like it has already survived a hundred shows, this one hits that sweet spot. It is all the classic Strat feel, with extra heat and zero compromises on playability.

Super Heavy Relic, Zero Fake Vibes

Real talk, relics only work if they feel honest. This Super Heavy Relic Aged Dirty White Blonde finish is all about vibe and comfort, not cartoon damage. The worn-through areas, checking, and dings make it feel broken in from the first chord, like a guitar you have spent years bonding with.

The relic work also takes the edge off everything your hands touch. Edges feel rolled, hardware feels played, and you never fight sticky gloss. It looks like a lifer and plays like an old friend.

Lightweight Ash Body With Serious Snap

At just 6.8 lbs, the ash body keeps things nice and easy on your shoulder without getting flimsy or thin sounding. You get that classic Strat balance of tight low end, scooped mids, and glassy top that blooms when you dig in.

Clean, it has that airy chime that makes chords shimmer. Push an amp and the guitar barks with focus and cut, instead of turning to mush. It is the kind of body that makes you want to roll your volume back and actually use your controls.

1959 D Neck And AA Flame Maple Feel

The AA maple neck with a 1959 D carve sits right in the sweet zone between chunky and fast. There is enough shoulder to anchor your hand for bends and vibrato, but it never feels like a baseball bat. It is the kind of neck you can happily play a three-set night on.

The AA flame maple fingerboard, 9.50 inch radius, and 21 narrow tall 6105 frets give you modern playability with a vintage soul. Bends feel smooth and effortless, chords stay comfortable across the neck, and the narrow tall wire makes every note pop with clarity.

Red Hot Pickups With Extra Sizzle

The Hot Rod Stratocaster pickups take familiar Strat tones and pump a little extra octane into them. The bridge has bite and grind that cuts through a dense mix without getting harsh. Roll the tone back a touch and it turns into a killer lead voice.

The middle and neck pickups give you all the glassy, three dimensional Strat sounds you expect, just with a little more push and presence. Positions 2 and 4 have that chewy, quacky rhythm tone that sits perfectly in a track. They love pedals and respond to every nuance of your picking hand.

Custom Shop Build, Moore Guitars Treatment

This is a true Fender Custom Shop build, not just a dressed up production Strat. AA woods, thoughtful spec choices, relic work that actually makes sense for players, and hardware that stays rock solid night after night. Serial CZ570462 is the exact guitar in the photos, sitting in our shop right now.

Every guitar that lands here gets inspected three times and dialed in by seasoned players, not warehouse workers. You get a free pro setup tailored to your specs, our 72-Hour Love-It Guarantee, free 2 to 3 day shipping, trade in options, and available 0 percent financing for up to 36 months. This is a legacy level Strat that is built to be played hard, not just stared at in a case.

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

This LTD Red Hot Stratocaster keeps the soul of a 60s Strat but adds more heat and feel. You get a lightweight ash body, a 1959 D neck carve with a modern friendly 9.50″ radius and narrow tall frets, plus the Hot Rod Strat pickups that hit your amp harder than vintage wound sets. The Super Heavy Relic work makes it feel like a perfectly broken in lifer instead of a brand new guitar you have to baby.
It feels like a guitar that has lived on stages for decades, without any of the sketchy repairs. The finish is heavily worn, checked, and aged, so nothing feels stiff or precious. Edges feel rounded, hardware feels played in, and there is no sticky gloss to fight. If you like guitars that already feel broken in on day one, this level of relic work is addicting.
Lighter ash like this has a very alive, resonant feel. You feel the guitar vibrate against your body and hear more acoustic volume unplugged. Plugged in, it translates to fast attack, tight lows, and a sweet, airy top end that stays focused when you add gain. On the strap it feels effortless for long sets, but it never comes off as thin or flimsy sounding.
It will absolutely make collectors smile, but this one is built to be played hard. The specs, neck carve, and pickups are all chosen with working players in mind, not just case queens. The good news is the Super Heavy Relic finish means you will not stress over the first ding. It already looks like a lifer, so you can just take it to the gig and let it do its thing.
Yes on both. We regularly take trades, so if you have gear you want to move toward this Strat, give us a call and we will talk through options. We also have financing available, including 0% for up to 36 months for qualified buyers. The goal is simple: get the right guitar into your hands in a way that makes sense for your budget.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 72-Hour Love-It Guarantee. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
Call us at (888) 794-8482. You’ll talk to a real musician who can answer anything you need to know.
