The alder 60 Stratocaster body wears a Heavy Relic Aged Daphne Blue over 3 Color Sunburst finish that looks like it has seen smoky bars, long tours, and a thousand songs. You see the sunburst peeking through the wear, the checking, and the honest looking scars, and it instantly feels like an old friend instead of a shiny museum piece.
Because the relic is done by the Custom Shop, it is all about feel and vibe. The edges are rounded, the forearm contour feels broken in, and there is nothing sticky to fight against.
