Product Description

Vintage Vibe, Modern Powerhouse

Meet the Fender American Professional II Stratocaster in Roasted Pine—a guitar that feels like an old friend from the first strum, but is packed with modern innovations. The roasted pine body isn’t just stunning to look at; it delivers a resonance and lightness that’s truly special, offering a punchy, articulate tone that sings. This isn’t just another Strat—it’s an evolution, built for the working musician who demands versatility and flawless performance night after night.

Upgraded V-Mod II Pickups

Fender’s V-Mod II single-coils are the heart of this guitar’s sonic identity. They’re voiced to be more articulate than ever, capturing that iconic, glassy Strat chime and warmth with stunning clarity. But here’s the secret weapon—a push-push tone control that activates the neck pickup in the first and second positions. This gives you access to powerful Tele-style tones, making this one of the most versatile Strats we’ve ever played.

The Player’s Neck

The Deep “C” neck profile feels instantly comfortable, striking a perfect balance between vintage feel and modern playability. Fender has gone the extra mile with smooth, rolled fingerboard edges and a “Super-Natural” satin finish that feels buttery and broken-in from day one. Plus, a newly sculpted neck heel makes reaching those upper frets effortless, so you can solo with total freedom.

Anatomy of a Tone Machine

Anatomy of a Tone Machine

Perfect for: Rock • Blues • Pop • Funk

Tone

  • Glassy, bell-like chime with exceptional articulation and warmth from the V-Mod II pickups.
  • Warm, full-bodied tones from the neck pickup, perfect for soulful leads and rhythm.
  • Classic Strat "quack" in positions 2 and 4, with a push-push pot for extra Tele-style spank.
  • Highly responsive to picking dynamics, cleaning up beautifully with the volume knob.

Playing Feel

  • Lightweight and resonant, the roasted pine body is comfortable for long gigs.
  • The Deep "C" neck with its "Super-Natural" satin finish and rolled edges feels fast and broken-in.
  • Effortless upper-fret access thanks to the sculpted neck heel.
  • Bends are a breeze on the 9.5" radius fingerboard with narrow-tall frets.

Versatility

  • Shines with clean, glassy tones but handles everything from mild grit to soaring leads.
  • A perfect platform for pedals, letting the character of your effects shine through.
  • The push-push tone knob unlocks unique pickup combinations, expanding its studio potential.
  • Cuts through a dense mix with classic Stratocaster clarity and punch.

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

Roasting the pine body removes moisture and sugars, making it incredibly lightweight and resonant—much like a vintage instrument that’s been played for decades. Tonally, it provides a snappy attack, warm midrange, and excellent sustain.
It’s a clever circuit that adds the neck pickup to positions 1 and 2 of the 5-way switch. This gives you two new sounds: the bridge and neck pickups together (like a Telecaster’s middle position) and all three pickups at once for a full, unique voice you can’t get on a standard Strat.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
