Product Description

A Legacy of Innovation, Dressed in Liquid Gold

Seventy-five years is a long time to stay on top. The Telecaster has done it by never standing still, and this 75th Anniversary American Ultra II is the pinnacle of that evolution. Dressed in a stunning, head-turning Liquid Gold finish with black chrome hardware, it’s a guitar that respects its roots while pushing the boundaries of performance. It’s built for the player who demands versatility, precision, and a look that’s as bold as their music.

The Fastest Neck in the West

From the moment you pick it up, the Ultra II feels like a precision machine. The quartersawn maple neck is carved into a Modern “D” profile, a comfortable shape that feels right for both chording and complex lead work. Combined with a buttery Ultra Satin finish, an ebony fingerboard with a 10″-14″ compound radius, and rolled edges, this neck is built for speed and comfort, letting your fingers fly without a fight.

A Universe of Tone Under the Hood

This Tele is a true sonic chameleon. In the neck, you have the 75th Anniversary Ultra Noiseless Tele pickup, delivering those glassy, warm single-coil tones without the 60-cycle hum. In the bridge, the 75th Anniversary Fastlane Humbucker serves up thick, articulate growl and punchy mids, perfect for driving your amp. But the real magic lies in the dual S-1 switches. One switch puts both pickups in series for a fatter, higher-output sound, while the other splits the humbucker for even more tonal flavors. From classic country twang to aggressive rock, it’s all in there.

Built for the Modern Stage

Every appointment on this guitar is geared toward pro-level performance. The 6-saddle string-through-body bridge with block brass saddles ensures rock-solid tuning stability and incredible resonance. Deluxe locking tuners make string changes a breeze and keep you in tune through heavy use. With its striking looks and unparalleled sonic flexibility, this Anniversary Tele is more than a collector’s piece; it’s a workhorse ready for the studio or the stage.

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

It gives you incredible tonal flexibility. The S-1 switch on the volume knob engages a series mode for both pickups, creating a fatter, higher-output tone almost like a big humbucker. The S-1 switch on the tone knob toggles the bridge humbucker’s coils between series and parallel, letting you choose between a powerful, punchy sound and a brighter, lower-output single-coil-style tone.
It’s the best of both worlds. The 10″ radius near the nut is slightly more curved, which makes fretting chords feel more natural and comfortable. As you move up the neck for solos, it flattens out to a 14″ radius, which is ideal for big string bends without the notes ‘fretting out.’ It’s a high-performance feature that makes the guitar feel effortless to play everywhere on the neck.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 72-Hour Love-It Guarantee. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
Orders ship same day in most cases and arrive within 1-4 business days with free, insured shipping. We’ll get it into your hands as quickly as we can.
