This Guitar Sustained Cosmetic Damage After Falling From a Hook in Our Store. The Instrument Has Been Thoroughly Inspected and Set Up, and the Damage Shown in the Photos Is Purely Cosmetic.
A Tele with a Wild Streak
This isn’t your grandfather’s Telecaster. The Limited Edition Ocelot Telecaster from the Fender Custom Shop is a masterclass in hybrid design, blending the iconic Tele silhouette with a voice and feel that’s altogether new. It pairs a warm, articulate Lollar P90 with a punchy Lollar mini-humbucker, and anchors them with a slinky RSD Jaguar/Jazzmaster bridge. This particular Ocelot is an incredible player that suffered a fall in our shop, resulting in some cosmetic-only dings. It’s your chance to grab a one-of-a-kind Custom Shop creation at a killer price.
Unconventional Tonal Power
The heart of the Ocelot is its Lollar pickup combination. The Low Wind P90 in the neck position delivers a sound that’s both fat and clear, with that classic single-coil sparkle but with more body and warmth. Switch to the bridge, and the Lollar mini-humbucker gives you focused midrange bite and growl without the muddiness of some full-sized humbuckers. The middle position offers a beautifully balanced, hum-canceling blend that’s perfect for rhythm work that needs to cut through a mix.
Modern Playability, Vintage Soul
The neck is where this guitar truly sings. Crafted from stable quartersawn maple, the 1957 Soft “V” profile feels substantial yet comfortable, filling the hand perfectly for both chordal work and lead playing. Combined with a modern 9.5″ fingerboard radius and 21 Medium Jumbo frets, it’s a platform built for effortless bending and smooth navigation. The Journeyman Relic nitrocellulose lacquer finish on both the neck and the roasted ash body gives it the broken-in feel of a guitar that’s been loved for decades.
Expressive Hardware
Diverging further from its Telecaster roots, the Ocelot features an RSD Jaguar/Jazzmaster bridge. This floating tremolo system provides a smooth, expressive vibrato action that’s perfect for adding shimmer to chords or for more dramatic pitch effects. It offers a completely different dynamic response under the picking hand compared to a traditional Tele bridge, adding a unique resonance and bloom to every note.
