Product Description

The Strat, Evolved.

Here’s the real deal on a modern classic—a pre-owned 2020 American Professional II Stratocaster for all the southpaw slingers out there. This isn’t just another Strat; it’s the culmination of over sixty years of innovation, inspiration, and evolution. Fender took what we all love about the Stratocaster and pushed it just a bit further. The result? A guitar that feels instantly familiar but offers a whole new level of playability and sonic flexibility. Dressed in a stunning Mystic Surf Green finish, this guitar has some serious vibe before you even plug it in.

Modern Feel, Classic Soul

The magic starts with the neck. Fender’s Deep “C” profile is the perfect middle ground—substantial enough to grab onto for big chords, but slim enough for effortless soloing. The back of the neck has a smooth, “Super-Natural” satin finish that feels like a well-worn friend, so you’ll never feel your hand sticking or slowing down. And with 22 narrow-tall frets and a 9.5″ radius maple fingerboard, bending notes is a buttery-smooth dream. This neck was built for comfort and speed, whether you’re playing for ten minutes or four hours.

The Voice of a Legend, Refined

Under the hood, this Strat is loaded with a trio of V-Mod II single-coil pickups. These were designed to deliver that iconic Strat chime and sparkle, but with enhanced clarity and articulation. They’re vintage-voiced but with a modern precision that cuts through a mix without getting harsh. But the real secret weapon is the push-push tone control. This little switch adds the neck pickup to positions one and two, unlocking those coveted Tele-style neck-and-bridge tones or letting all three pickups sing together for a full, funky voice you can’t get on a standard Strat. It’s a massive expansion of your tonal palette.

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

It’s one of the best features on this guitar. When you push it, it adds the neck pickup to whatever position you’re in on the switch. This means you can get the bridge and neck pickups together, like a Telecaster, for a full-bodied, snappy tone that’s amazing for rhythm and country. You can also have all three pickups on at once for a unique, super-charged quack.
It’s a really comfortable, modern profile. It’s not as thin as a modern ‘shredder’ neck, and not as chunky as a vintage ’50s neck. It gives you enough wood to really grab onto for chords and rhythm playing, but the satin finish and 9.5″ radius make it fast and comfortable for lead playing and string bending. It’s a great all-around shape that fits most players’ hands perfectly.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
