Product Description

A Southpaw Cannon of Classic Rock Tone

For the left-handed player craving that unmistakable ’60s LP vibe, this pre-owned Epiphone Les Paul Standard 60s in a gorgeous Bourbon Burst is a straight-up powerhouse. This isn’t just a guitar; it’s a ticket back to the golden era of rock and roll. From the moment you pick it up, the solid mahogany body and that stunning AA Flame Maple top deliver a resonance you can feel in your chest. This one’s in Very Good Condition and comes with a hardshell case—it’s ready for the stage, studio, or wherever you make music.

Vintage Voice, Modern Punch

The heart of this beast is its powerhouse pickup combination. A ProBucker-2 in the neck and a slightly overwound ProBucker-3 in the bridge serve up that legendary PAF-style warmth and complexity. We’re talking glassy, articulate cleans from the neck pickup and a raw, gritty bite from the bridge that cuts through any mix. The controls feature high-quality CTS pots, giving you a smooth, responsive sweep from mellow jazz lines to screaming rock leads.

Effortless ’60s Playability

The SlimTaper™ 60s C profile neck is built for speed and comfort. It’s substantial enough to dig in for big bends but lean enough for lightning-fast runs up and down the Indian Laurel fingerboard. Combined with a classic 12″ radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, this neck feels like an old friend right out of the case. Rock-solid Grover® Rotomatic® tuners and a LockTone™ ABR Tune-o-matic™ bridge ensure you stay in tune, no matter how hard you play.

Anatomy of a Tone Machine

Anatomy of a Tone Machine

Perfect for: Classic Rock • Blues • Hard Rock • Jazz

Tone

  • Bridge pickup delivers a classic, gritty Les Paul bite with plenty of cut and upper-midrange growl.
  • Neck pickup offers warm, glassy, and articulate tones perfect for smooth leads and full-bodied rhythm.
  • The middle position provides a balanced, open-sounding chime that's incredibly versatile for clean and driven sounds.
  • Responds beautifully to your picking dynamics; dig in for aggressive snarl or ease back for sweet, blooming notes.

Playing Feel

  • A satisfying weight and classic single-cut balance that feels solid and resonant against the body.
  • The SlimTaper™ 60s C neck profile is fast and comfortable, ideal for both chording and single-note soloing.
  • Responds instantly to your touch, with a lively acoustic character that translates through the pickups.
  • A true workhorse that feels great for hours-long gigs and recording sessions without causing fatigue.

Versatility

  • Goes from sparkling clean to mean and overdriven with just a twist of the volume knob.
  • Takes pedals like a champ—fuzz, overdrive, and delay all sound rich and complex.
  • Records beautifully, providing a thick, foundational tone that sits perfectly in a dense mix.
  • Cuts through with authority on a loud stage, ensuring your solos are always heard.

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

They get you remarkably close to that holy-grail tone. The ProBuckers are designed to capture the nuance and character of the original PAF humbuckers, offering a warm, rich tone with great clarity. The ProBucker-2 in the neck is smooth and soulful, while the slightly hotter ProBucker-3 in the bridge gives you that extra bite for solos.
It’s a really comfortable, fast-playing neck. It’s thinner than the big ’50s “baseball bat” necks, making it easier to move around on for most players. It’s perfect for playing quick lead lines and also feels great for chording.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
Call us at (888) 794-8482. You’ll talk to a real musician who can answer anything you need to know.
