Product Description

The Player’s Semi-Hollow—Luxe Looks, Timeless Tone

There’s a reason the Sheraton is a stone-cold classic. Hailed by legends like John Lee Hooker as a top-tier semi-hollow, this 2014 Epiphone Sheraton II in a classy Ebony finish delivers on that promise. It’s got the elegant looks—gold hardware, multi-ply binding, and those gorgeous block and triangle inlays—but it’s built to be played. The laminated maple body and solid mahogany center block combo is pure magic, giving you all the airy resonance you want from a semi-hollow, but with the feedback resistance and sustain of a solid body. This pre-owned axe is in good condition and ready to sing.

Vintage Voice, Modern Playability

The heart of this Sheraton is its pair of Alnico Classic™ Humbuckers. These pickups serve up a warm, rich, and articulate tone that’s incredibly versatile. From glassy, clean jazz lines to gritty blues and overdriven rock, they have a beautiful dynamic response that cleans up with your volume knob and reacts to every nuance of your picking. The neck pickup is meaty and articulate, while the bridge has that perfect humbucker bite without being harsh.

Effortless Feel

This guitar doesn’t just sound good—it feels incredible. The 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck is carved into a Slim Taper “C” Profile, a player-favorite shape that’s comfortable for both chording and lead work. Combined with a 12″ radius rosewood fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets, you get a buttery-smooth playing surface that’s easy to bend on and feels right at home for hours-long sessions. Gold Grover™ tuners and the Locktone™ Tune-o-matic bridge keep your tuning rock-solid, so you can focus on the music.

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

The Sheraton II is often seen as the top-of-the-line Epiphone semi-hollow. Compared to a Dot, it has upgraded appointments like the multi-ply binding, gold hardware, and the ornate block and triangle inlays. Unlike the fully-hollow Casino, the Sheraton II has a solid center block, which reduces feedback at high volumes and increases sustain, making it more suitable for rock and higher-gain styles.
They deliver a warm, vintage-inspired tone with a nice balance of clarity and fullness. They’re very versatile, capable of producing smooth, mellow tones for jazz, but they can also bite and growl for blues and classic rock when you dig in. They’re known for being very touch-sensitive.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
