Bolt On Snap, PRS Refinement, Stage Ready

If you have always loved the punch of a classic bolt on but wanted the finesse and consistency PRS is known for, the CE 24 hits that sweet spot. You get that immediate attack and shimmer on top, wrapped in the kind of sustain and tuning stability you actually want to take on stage every night.

Maple On Mahogany For Snap And Sustain

This CE 24 starts with a maple top over a mahogany back, the classic recipe for clear highs with a focused, singing midrange. The solid body construction keeps things tight and punchy, so chords stay articulate and single notes bloom instead of flubbing out.

The Black Amber finish makes the figuring and contours pop under stage lights, so it looks every bit as serious as it sounds. At 7.7 lbs it feels substantial enough to resonate, but light enough that your shoulder is not screaming halfway through the second set.

Bolt On Maple Neck With Pattern Thin Speed

The bolt on maple neck gives you that familiar snap and response that players have chased for decades. Notes launch off the fretboard with a quick attack, which is perfect for rhythm work that needs definition and lead lines that cut without getting harsh.

The Pattern Thin carve is fast without feeling like a toothpick. It fills the hand just enough to stay comfortable on long gigs, and the 24 fret layout gives you effortless access all the way up the neck for modern runs and wide interval bends.

85/15 Pickups And Six Go To Tones

PRS 85/15 pickups are all about clarity and range. They give you tight, controlled lows, open mids, and glassy top end that stays musical even with gain stacked on top.

With a 3 way toggle and a push pull tone control for coil splitting, you get six classic sounds on tap. Full humbucker mode covers everything from chunky rhythm to saturated leads, while the split settings bring out chimey, single coil like sparkle that sits beautifully in a mix.

PRS Tremolo And Locking Hardware You Can Trust

The PRS patented molded tremolo feels smooth and expressive, so you can add subtle shimmer or get more aggressive without feeling like you are fighting the bridge. Paired with PRS low mass locking tuners, tuning stability stays solid even if you lean on the bar.

Nickel hardware keeps everything looking sharp and classy without distracting from the wood and finish. Real talk, this is the kind of hardware setup you do not have to baby on a gig.

Built To Be A Reliable Workhorse

This CE 24 is a proper working player guitar, not a case queen. Between the flexible electronics, fast but comfortable neck, and rock solid hardware, it is the kind of instrument you can tune up, plug in, and trust in any room.

We run every guitar through our full Player Perfect setup before it leaves, so it arrives ready to cover clean worship sets, high gain rock shows, and everything in between.

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

The CE 24 blends classic bolt on snap with the refinement PRS is known for. You get a maple top and mahogany body for sustain and warmth, a bolt on maple neck for clarity and attack, and modern appointments like locking tuners and a PRS trem. It feels familiar under the hands but delivers a more polished, studio ready version of that traditional bolt on voice.
The 85/15 set is built for clarity with an extended high and low end, so they never get muddy or dull. With the 3 way toggle and push pull coil split you have six usable voices that actually sound different, from tight humbucker crunch to bright, articulate split tones. It is the kind of setup where you can cover an entire gig with one guitar and not feel boxed in.
Pattern Thin is fast, but it is not a razor thin shred stick. It has enough shoulder to feel supportive for chords and rhythm work, while still staying sleek for wide stretches and quick position shifts. Most players coming from modern C or slim C necks feel right at home within a few minutes, and it stays comfortable for long rehearsals and three set nights.
The PRS patented molded trem paired with PRS low mass locking tuners is a very gig friendly setup. Use it for subtle vibrato or more expressive dips and it will still come back to pitch as long as you string it up right and stretch the strings. It is designed to be a musical tool you actually use, not a bridge you are afraid to touch.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 72-Hour Love-It Guarantee. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
If you order before 3 PM CST on a weekday, it ships the same day. We’ll get it into your hands fast with free, insured 2-3 day shipping.
