Product Description

A High-Octane Strat for the Modern Player

This isn’t your grandpa’s Stratocaster. Fender’s Limited Edition Player Fusion Strat HSS is a purpose-built machine designed for players who demand more. It combines the iconic Strat silhouette with a host of modern, high-performance features for a playing experience that’s all about speed, power, and precision. Dressed in a stunning Olympic Pearl finish with a matching pearloid pickguard and aggressive black hardware, it looks as fast as it plays.

Modern Neck, Effortless Playability

The magic starts with the neck. You get a sleek Thin “C” profile maple neck with a smooth satin urethane finish that feels incredible in your hands. Topped with a dark, slick ebony fingerboard and a flat 12-inch radius, this neck is built for comfort and speed. Bending notes is a breeze on the 22 jumbo frets, giving you a modern feel with zero resistance for your most demanding licks.

Sonic Versatility on Tap

The Fusion Strat is loaded with a powerful and versatile HSS pickup configuration. In the bridge, a Player II Modified Humbucker delivers all the punch, grit, and saturation needed for heavy riffs and searing leads. For that classic Strat chime without the hum, the neck and middle positions are equipped with Player II Noiseless single-coils. The push/pull tone pot splits the humbucker for glassy, authentic single-coil tones, making this guitar a true sonic chameleon that can handle anything you throw at it.

Built to Perform

Every piece of hardware is chosen for performance and stability. The 2-point synchronized tremolo with block saddles provides smooth, expressive vibrato action while maintaining tuning. Paired with deluxe cast/sealed locking tuners, you can dive-bomb all night long without worry. It’s a professional-grade instrument ready for the stage, the studio, and anywhere in between.

Anatomy of a Tone Machine

Anatomy of a Tone Machine

Perfect for: Hard Rock • Modern Blues • Pop • Fusion

Tone

  • The bridge humbucker delivers a thick, saturated tone with plenty of output for aggressive rock and articulate leads.
  • Neck and middle Noiseless pickups provide classic, glassy Stratocaster spank and chime without any 60-cycle hum.
  • Positions 2 and 4 offer up those beautiful, hollow "in-between" tones, perfect for funk, pop, and clean passages.
  • Splitting the bridge humbucker unlocks bright, snappy single-coil tones for ultimate versatility.

Playing Feel

  • The Alder body is resonant and comfortable against the body for long sessions.
  • The Thin "C" neck profile and flat 12" radius ebony fingerboard create a fast, modern playing surface perfect for technical playing.
  • Jumbo frets make for effortless string bending and a light touch under the fingers.
  • This guitar feels responsive and solid, encouraging expressive and dynamic playing.

Versatility

  • Goes from pristine, bell-like cleans to high-gain saturation with the flick of a switch.
  • The noiseless pickups provide a perfect, quiet platform for even the most complex pedalboards.
  • In the studio, it's a workhorse that can cover single-coil and humbucker territory in one instrument.
  • The HSS configuration ensures it can cut through a dense mix or sit back with soulful cleans.

The Lowdown

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

You get all the classic, bell-like clarity and sparkle of a traditional Strat single-coil pickup, but without any of the annoying 60-cycle hum. This makes the guitar incredibly quiet, which is perfect for recording sessions or playing with high-gain pedals.
The 12-inch radius is flatter than a vintage-style Fender, which is typically 7.25″ or 9.5″. This modern, flatter radius makes it much easier to bend strings without them ‘fretting out’ or choking. It’s a feature many rock and fusion players love for its speed and comfort during solos.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
Orders ship same day in most cases and arrive within 1-4 business days with free, insured shipping. We’ll get it into your hands as quickly as we can.
Call us at (888) 794-8482. You’ll talk to a real musician who can answer anything you need to know.
