CuNiFe Punch, Bigsby Shimmer—Custom Shop Tele, Zero Compromise
If you’ve been chasing a Tele that does way more than just “twang,” this one’s the real deal. Ash body, CuNiFe Wide Range humbucker, Texas Special bridge, and a factory Bigsby—this LTD Custom Shop build turns the classic 60s Tele Custom into a full-on tone laboratory.
Ash Body, Natural Relic, Classic Tele Ring
The ash 60 Telecaster Custom body is the backbone of that familiar Fender snap and sustain. In natural with a tasteful relic treatment, it feels broken-in the second you pick it up—no sticky gloss, no babying it on the stand, just a guitar that begs to be played.
At 8.6 lbs, it has enough mass for piano-like lows and a solid, focused attack, but it’s still balanced on a strap for long sets. The relic work isn’t about fake abuse—it’s about letting the body resonate and giving you a guitar that already feels like an old friend.
Quartersawn Flame Maple Neck & AAA Rosewood Board
The quartersawn AA flame maple neck isn’t just eye candy. Quartersawn construction means stability—this thing shrugs off climate swings and keeps your setup locked in. The 60 Style Oval “C” profile (.790″ at the 1st fret, .930″ at the 12th) hits that sweet spot: slim enough for fast lines, substantial enough to dig into chords without fatigue.
AAA rosewood on a 9.5″ radius board with 21 narrow tall (6105) frets is a killer combo. Bends feel buttery and controlled, intonation stays true up the neck, and those taller frets make vibrato and legato feel almost effortless. Mother of Pearl face and side dots keep it classy and easy to navigate under stage lights.
CuNiFe Wide Range + Texas Special: Two Killer Voices
Here’s the lowdown: the CuNiFe Wide Range humbucker in the neck is the star of the show. CuNiFe (copper, nickel, and iron) gives you that “hi-fi” clarity—rich, full-bodied tone with piano-like lows, glassy top, and definition that hangs together even when you push your amp hard.
Drop to the bridge and the hand-wound Texas Special brings the heat: bright, biting, and twangy with enough mid push to cut through a dense mix without getting harsh. The combo is wild—in-between tones that jangle and chime, thick neck tones for soul and jazz, and searing bridge sounds for country, blues, and rock.
Use the Dual Stack HS Tele controls and tone knob and you can live on this guitar all night. Roll back tone for warm, smoky neck sounds, open it up for brilliant, articulate attack, and everything stays quiet and controlled thanks to the humbucker design and proper shielding.
Bigsby B-5: Shimmer, Not Tuning Nightmares
A Bigsby can be a heartbreaker if it’s not done right—this one is. The factory-installed B-5 tailpiece and bridge, paired with a properly cut bone nut and vintage Fender tuners, gives you smooth vibrato without the “pray it’s still in tune” moment after every chord.
It’s perfect for subtle warbles, chordal shimmer, and expressive lead wobble rather than dive-bomb theatrics. The feel is buttery and controlled, and the guitar still retains that fundamental Tele attack and sustain underneath the motion of the bar.
Limited-Run Custom Shop Craftsmanship
This is an LTD Fender Custom Shop build—so you’re not just buying a Tele, you’re buying a piece of what the best builders in Corona do when they’re let off the leash. Every detail is dialed: 4-bolt neck joint, early-60s truss rod spec, period-correct headstock and decal, relic hardware that feels broken-in but solid.
