A Telecaster From Another Dimension
This isn’t your granddaddy’s Tele. This pre-owned 2023 Fender John 5 Ghost Telecaster is a masterclass in modern design, delivering a visual and sonic statement unlike anything else. Pulled from a limited run, this instrument is in excellent condition, with the plastic still on the pickguard, offering a rare chance to own a collector’s piece that’s built to perform. The entire guitar, from the alder body to the one-piece maple neck and fingerboard, is cloaked in a stunning Arctic White finish. It’s a ghostly canvas, brought to life with electric red accents on the binding, controls, and hardware for a look that’s pure John 5.
Aggressive Tones, No Batteries Required
The heart of the Ghost is its potent HH configuration, loaded with a set of DiMarzio D Activator humbuckers. These pickups were engineered to deliver the punch, clarity, and harmonic richness of active pickups, but with the dynamic response and nuance you only get from a passive design. The bridge pickup serves up searing high-gain tones that cut through any mix with precision, while the neck offers a warmer, fat lead tone that still cleans up beautifully when you roll back the volume. This is modern metal and rock firepower in a classic silhouette.
Performance-Focused Hardware
Every detail here is built for the stage. A 3-way toggle on the upper bout allows for lightning-fast pickup changes, while the red arcade-style ‘kill switch’ lets you unleash those machine-gun stutter effects with ease. Up top, deluxe locking tuners provide unshakable tuning stability, no matter how wild things get. Down below, a 6-saddle string-through-body bridge with block steel saddles ensures perfect intonation and rock-solid sustain. This thing is a high-performance machine, through and through.
Unrivaled Feel and Playability
The neck is where this guitar truly shines. Carved to a custom John 5 Medium “C” profile, it feels substantial yet fast, a perfect middle ground for chording and shredding. The 9.5″ radius and 22 narrow-tall frets on the all-white maple fingerboard provide a buttery-smooth playing surface that makes bends and vibrato feel effortless. It’s a neck that feels instantly familiar yet refined for the modern player.
