Product Description

Vintage Tone, Modern Craft

This Eastman E10M is a testament to the power of thermally-cured woods. The solid Sitka Spruce top has been treated to replicate the cellular structure of aged, vintage tonewood, giving it a dry, woody, and incredibly responsive voice right out of the case. Paired with the warmth and focus of solid Sapele back and sides, this guitar delivers a tone that is both articulate for fingerstyle and punchy enough for strumming.

Effortless Playability

The magic isn’t just in the tone; it’s in the feel. The Traditional Even “C” mahogany neck is a comfortable handful that feels instantly familiar, while the 12″ radius ebony fingerboard provides a smooth, fast playing surface. With a 24.9″ scale length, string tension feels slinky and comfortable, making complex chords and big bends a breeze.

Hand-Crafted Details

From the hand-scalloped X-bracing that optimizes the top’s vibration to the bone nut and saddle that ensure maximum resonance and sustain, every detail of the E10M is built for performance. The classic rosette, tortoise binding, and pearl dot inlays provide a timeless aesthetic, making this a guitar you’ll be proud to own and play for years to come. This one arrives in mint condition, ready for its next chapter.

Anatomy of a Tone Machine

Anatomy of a Tone Machine

Perfect for: Fingerstyle • Folk • Blues • Singer-Songwriter

Tone

  • Dry, woody, and articulate with a strong fundamental.
  • The Thermo-Cured top provides an 'open' and 'aged' sound with enhanced clarity.
  • Sapele back and sides offer a warm, focused midrange similar to mahogany.
  • Highly responsive to a light touch, but has plenty of headroom for aggressive strumming.

Playing Feel

  • The OM body size is comfortable and balanced, perfect for both sitting and standing.
  • The Traditional Even "C" neck profile offers a substantial but comfortable grip.
  • A 24.9" scale length provides slightly softer string tension for easy fretting and bending.
  • The 12" fingerboard radius is a sweet spot for both chording and single-note lines.

Versatility

  • Excels at nuanced fingerstyle playing where clarity and note separation are key.
  • Records beautifully, with a balanced voice that sits perfectly in a mix.
  • Has enough projection and punch for solo gigs or small acoustic ensembles.

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

Think of it as a time machine for wood. The process heats the Sitka spruce top in a controlled environment to remove moisture and crystallize the resins, just like decades of natural aging would. The result is a top that’s lighter, stiffer, and more stable, giving you that ‘played-in,’ vintage tone from day one. It sounds more open and responsive, with a woody character you’d normally have to wait years to hear.
Sapele is a fantastic tonewood that’s sonically very similar to Mahogany. It has that same strong midrange focus, warmth, and woody character that players love. Some players find Sapele to have a little extra top-end sparkle and density, which helps notes ring with clarity. It’s a perfect complement to the aged Sitka top on this E10M.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfectâ„¢ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
Orders ship same day in most cases and arrive within 1-4 business days with free, insured shipping. We’ll get it into your hands as quickly as we can.
