The T-Style, Reimagined
This isn’t just another T-style clone. This is Charles Whitfill’s take on a legendary design, elevated with boutique craftsmanship and a killer pickup combination that unlocks a whole new sonic palette. The Whitfill Double Bound T-Style blends vintage soul with modern playability, delivering a guitar that feels like an old friend from the very first chord, yet bristles with its own unique personality.
The foundation is a resonant, lightweight swamp ash body, double-bound for a touch of classic elegance and finished in a gorgeous 3-Tone Sunburst with a tasteful light relic treatment. It looks and feels like a road-tested instrument that has stories to tell. The magic really happens when you plug it in. The pairing of a proprietary Whitfill P-90 in the neck and a “Usual Suspects” T-style single-coil in the bridge gives you the best of both worlds, from warm, gritty blues to searing, twangy bite.
Built for the Player
The neck is where you’ll really feel the Whitfill difference. This guitar features a substantial Heavy C profile maple neck with a smooth rosewood fingerboard. The 10-inch radius is a sweet spot for both comfortable chording and effortless string bending. Every detail is dialed in for performance, from the premium CTS pots and CRL switch to the reliable Gotoh vintage-style tuners and bridge with compensated brass saddles for perfect intonation.
Unmatched Tonal Versatility
In the bridge position, you get all the snap, sparkle, and cut you expect from a great T-style guitar. It’s perfect for country licks, rockabilly rhythms, and driving rock riffs. Flip to the neck P-90, and the guitar transforms. You’re greeted with the thick, warm, and slightly raw midrange punch that only a P-90 can deliver, ideal for soulful leads and fat, jazzy chords. The middle position offers a beautifully balanced, hum-canceling blend that’s full of character for rhythm work that truly stands out.
