Product Description

A Modern Strat with a Classic Soul

Here’s a guitar that respects its roots while keeping its eyes on the future. This pre-owned Fender Player II Modified Stratocaster is a real find, arriving in excellent condition with the plastic still on the pickguard. It’s a player’s guitar, through and through, blending that iconic Stratocaster feel with some seriously cool modern upgrades that give you a massive tonal palette to work with.

Noiseless Power and Versatility

The heart of this Strat is its trio of Player II Noiseless pickups. You get all the glassy, bell-like chime and quack you expect from a great Strat, but without any of the 60-cycle hum that can plague single-coils. But the real magic lies in the wiring. The second tone knob is a push/pull switch that adds the neck pickup into positions one and two. This unlocks two brand new sounds, giving you the spank of a Tele in one position and a full, rich three-pickup voice you can’t get on a standard Strat. It’s a massive upgrade for the gigging musician.

Effortless Playability

From the moment you pick it up, this guitar just feels right. The Modern “C” maple neck has a comfortable, familiar profile, and the satin urethane finish is smooth and fast, never sticky or slow. Combined with a modern 9.5″ radius rosewood fingerboard and 22 medium-jumbo frets, you get a perfect platform for both chording and bending strings with ease. It’s a neck that’s built for long sessions, whether you’re on stage or in the studio.

Rock-Solid Hardware

Fender loaded this Strat with hardware designed for stability and performance. The 2-point synchronized tremolo provides smooth, expressive vibrato action while the deluxe cast/sealed locking tuners ensure you get back in tune quickly and stay there. A genuine TUSQ nut enhances sustain and resonance, making sure every note rings out clear and true. This Strat is a reliable workhorse that’s ready for anything you can throw at it.

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

It’s a fantastic feature for tonal flexibility. When you pull the second tone knob up, it adds the neck pickup to whichever position you’re in. In position one (bridge), you get a bridge/neck combination similar to a Telecaster. In position two (bridge/middle), you get all three pickups at once for a full, unique voicing you can’t get on a standard Strat.
They sound remarkably authentic, delivering the chime, sparkle, and quack you expect from a vintage Strat. The key difference is the absence of 60-cycle hum, which makes them perfect for playing with high gain or in noisy environments. You get all the classic tone without the noise.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfectâ„¢ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
Orders ship same day in most cases and arrive within 1-4 business days with free, insured shipping. We’ll get it into your hands as quickly as we can.
