Product Description

Vintage Offset Vibe, Modern Feel

Real talk, this Squier Classic Vibe ’60s Jazzmaster is a stunning homage to the iconic Fender offset. It absolutely nails the vibe and tone that made the original a legend among surf, indie, and alt-rock players. From the vibrant Tahitian Coral finish to the dual Fender-Designed alnico single-coils, this guitar delivers the authentic Jazzmaster experience without the vintage price tag. It’s got the look, the feel, and most importantly, the sound.

Authentic Tone & Electronics

The heart of this Jazzmaster is its pair of Fender designed Alnico single-coil pickups. They serve up everything from glassy, articulate cleans to gritty, blooming overdrive when you dig in. The real magic, though, is the dual-circuit design. The lead circuit gives you the classic Master Volume/Tone setup, while a flick of the switch engages the rhythm circuit, offering up a darker, smoother voice from the neck pickup with its own dedicated thumbwheel controls. It’s like having two distinct tonal worlds in one guitar.

Modern Playability, Classic Style

Squier didn’t just recreate the look; they focused on the feel. The slim “C” shape maple neck is comfortable and fast, finished in a tinted gloss for a slick, vintage feel. Combined with an easy-playing 9.5″ radius Indian Laurel fingerboard and narrow-tall frets, you get a setup that feels familiar and allows for effortless bending and chording. The vintage-style floating tremolo provides smooth, expressive action for everything from subtle shimmers to deep dives, and the 6-saddle bridge ensures solid tuning stability.

The Lowdown

We get it. Buying a guitar you haven’t played is a big decision. You need to know it’s going to feel right, sound right, and inspire you the second you open the case. We put together the questions we’d be asking if we were in your shoes—the real-world stuff that specs alone can’t answer. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just give us a call.

That’s the classic Jazzmaster rhythm/lead circuit! The standard controls on the lower bout work for both pickups. But when you flip the switch on the upper horn up, you activate the ‘rhythm circuit,’ which is just the neck pickup running through the two roller knobs next to the switch. It gives you a preset, often darker, mellow tone you can switch to instantly.
When set up properly, it’s surprisingly stable for expressive bends and shimmers. The key is a well-cut bone nut and a good setup, which is exactly what our Player-Perfect™ setup ensures before it ever gets to you. It’s designed for smooth action, not extreme dive bombs.
Of course. Every guitar gets our full Player-Perfect™ setup, but tell us your preferred string gauge and action at checkout, and we’ll dial it in exactly to your spec before it leaves the shop.
This guitar is covered by our 14-Day Return Policy. If you’re not completely inspired by it, just let us know. We’ll make it right.
Orders ship same day in most cases and arrive within 1-4 business days with free, insured shipping. We’ll get it into your hands as quickly as we can.
