The Fender Limited and FSR line prove that the senior instrument manufacturing companies can still put interesting twists on their classic designs. The American Pro Telecaster Limited and the FSR Traditional Strat XII are prime examples though they maintain the classic Fender look; these guitars have a lot more going on than meets the eye.

Fender Japan has been one of the coolest wings of Fender and now they have returned with a new line of instruments that we can only hope is the start of a triumphant return. Part of this return is this Strat XII which is really a “what you see is what you get,” kind of thing. It is a regular Stratocaster with 12 strings at a good price point.

The American Pro Telecaster Limited has the look of a 70s Tele, but with modern updates to make it more playable and easily maintained. It has the ash body in blond and the “Shawbucker” in the neck along with all of the modern updates found on the American Professional telecaster. It truly is a modern classic!
