Moore Guitars is proud to offer one of the limited production Taylor 50th Anniversary Builder’s Edition 814ce LTD's. This very special guitar was designed in celebration of Taylor Guitars 50th anniversary. The 814ce has been the "flagship guitar" for Taylor, so it just makes sense to celebrate this achievement with a very special model!
This ultra-refined version features an Indian rosewood back and sides and is paired with a sinker redwood top. Rosewood's rich lows, sparkling highs and lush overtones complement the redwood's blend of cedar-like warmth and bold projection, all turbocharged by Taylor Guitars patented V-Class bracing. Like its standard Builder's Edition sibling, this model boasts a beveled armrest, beveled cutaway, chamfered edges and a Curve Wing bridge for seamless playing comfort. Limited-edition appointments include a gold-hued mother-of-pearl peghead logo and matching Element inlays, maple purfling around the fretboard and peghead, a green abalone rosette, premium Gotoh 510 tuners, and ebony bridge pins with gold acrylic dots.
Finished with a Kona edgeburst and a full-body gloss, this all-purpose Grand Auditorium sports a commemorative 50th anniversary label. These guitars were only manufactured in a 9 month window and special care was taken to hand choose the woods for this special run of guitars. These are certainly amazing guitars to have in any collection - there is a story to tell with each one! Start to tell your own story with this one! When they are gone, they are gone, and production has already stopped. Pictures are of the actual guitar you will receive! If you would like more photos, we are happy to provide them! Just let us know what you need.

That’s a prime reason why we’re the fastest-growing online guitar shop.

- Our sales staff are all musicians! What’s more important than communication? We speak your language. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional player, we’ve been in your shoes. A lot of aspects of the guitar are intangible, and a non-player just can’t understand. It’s a guitar thing. But we can talk about tone and feel in the same language you use. We know what it means to love an instrument, and we want to help you find your new love.
You should have NO disappointments when you see this guitar and hold it for its first strum!
