A few notes from the Taylor Staff

What we find interesting about these guitars is the value - a fully made USA guitar with just the right wood combination - Rosewood and Spruce!  The same tonewood combination in the famous 800 series for a 40% reduction in price!  A few less appointments, no armrest, but the same great rosewood tone that you would expect from a guitar built like this!  Great compliments to this guitar for the ES2 pickup system that provides transparent acoustic tone when amplified; V-Class Bracing for great projection and harmonics, a beautiful burst finish, and new to this model is a slightly slimmer 1-11/16" nut.  If you've played a Taylor Tecate guitar, you are familiar with the 1/16" smaller nut width vs. the 1-3/4" that normally comes on the USA models.  This makes for a really smooth easy fast playing neck!  Giving this guitar a try is a great way to step into a beautiful USA made Taylor guitar at a great value!

Some Info From Taylor

With its solid tonewoods, slender neck, tone-enhancing bracing and alluring shaded edgeburst top, the 414ce Studio SEB serves up a pro-quality playing experience at a more accessible price point for everyday musicians. Solid Indian rosewood back and sides generate lush overtones, pristine trebles and a rich low-end character, while the torrefied Sitka spruce top adds bold projection and a dash of additional warmth and aged-in sweetness. Inside, our V-Class bracing dials up more volume, longer sustain and improved pitch accuracy, making this Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar an excellent choice for live play, songwriting and recording applications in virtually any playing style. Sleek, striking visual details like the burst top and gloss-finish body round out the appointment package for the 414ce Studio SEB, offering a stage-ready look to complement its rich voice.

- In business since 1976: Moore Music has been a premier brick-and-mortar guitar shop in Evansville, Indiana since shortly after opening in 1976. Founder, Pat Moore, instilled in his business the concept of old-school service that we build upon today. When the current owner, Brett Mulzer, took the store online as Moore Guitars in 2013, we quickly developed a reputation for honesty and integrity in all our interactions with our customers. That’s a prime reason why we’re the fastest-growing online guitar shop.

- Our sales staff are all musicians! What’s more important than communication? We speak your language. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional player, we’ve been in your shoes. A lot of aspects of the guitar are intangible, and a non-player just can’t understand. It’s a guitar thing. But we can talk about tone and feel in the same language you use. We know what it means to love an instrument, and we want to help you find your new love.

You should have NO disappointments when you see this guitar and hold it for its first strum!
