Notes from the Moore Guitar Staff

There is something special about smaller bodied guitars.  They have an "intimacy factor" that is very hard to describe, except to say that playing the guitar is unique in that the player holds - almost cradles their instrument in their own special way; and the ease/comfort with which the instrument plays directly reflects the intention of the player.

Think about this - you are in another country and you don't know the language, so you have an interpreter.  The knowledge and ability of that translator directly reflects the intention of the initial spoken words.  A translator that isn't fluent in your native language might not accurately reflect what was said.  Okay I think you get the point!  The point is - smaller guitars are more likely to have a greater reflection/translation of your strumming (or picking) hand then larger guitars will. The smaller top and thinner depth have a more immediate impact, hence you don't need a lot of pressure or force to get the guitar top and bridge working together to produce what you want translated to the listener - you can "whisper or speak louder", and the guitar translates that with great accuracy.

This cutaway version of the 300 Series Grand Concert features all-mahogany construction, solid tonewoods and V-Class interior bracing for improved volume and sustain. The 322ce boasts a compact feel with strong tonal articulation that make it an ideal choice for fingerstyle arrangements and recording applications, while the shorter 24-7/8" scale neck setup offers a relaxed feel and more presence in the midrange. The result is a punchy, balanced voice with a focus on the fundamental note and minimal overtones, a sound that translates beautifully in amplified settings thanks to the built-in ES2 electronics. Appointments include a satin edgeburst finish, Gemstone fretboard inlays in Italian acrylic, and a stylish firestripe pickguard.  This guitar also comes with a Taylor Hard shell case to protect your instrument whether you are traveling or if it just sits at home.

For fans of mahogany acoustic guitars, the Taylor 322ce offers an exceptional balance of tonal focus, midrange punch and note-to-note articulation, making it an especially great choice for fingerstyle players and guitarists who spend time in the studio. Inside the compact Grand Concert body, Taylor Guitars proprietary V-Class bracing architecture dials up the response with more volume and longer sustain, and improved harmony all the way up the neck—perfect for getting clean, expressive sound whether you're recording or performing live. An alluring edgeburst color treatment and firestripe pickguard add a touch of visual style, rounding out an enticing experience for all types of players.

-In business since 1976: Moore Music has been a premier brick-and-mortar guitar shop in Evansville, Indiana since shortly after opening in 1976. Founder, Pat Moore, instilled in his business the concept of old-school service that we build upon today. That’s a prime reason why we’re the fastest-growing online guitar shop.

-Our sales staff are all musicians! What’s more important than communication? We speak your language. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional player, we’ve been in your shoes. A lot of aspects of the guitar are intangible, and a non-player just can’t understand. It’s a guitar thing. But we can talk about tone and feel in the same language you use. We know what it means to love an instrument, and we want to help you find your new love.
