Robert Godin began making guitars in rural Quebec out of a passion for music and craftsmanship. His dedication to quality and ingenuity has allowed Godin to become one of North America’s largest guitar manufacturers, providing players all around the world with guitars that are unique, diverse, and effortlessly enjoyable.
Godin guitars are unique because from forest to stage, they are purely North American. The necks and bodies are all made in Godin’s original manufacturing facility in La Patrie, Quebec. Godin Guitars are then assembled in Quebec and New Hampshire factories. From fretting to sanding, there is more handwork in Godin guitars than you’ll find in most custom shops.
Versatility is the foundation of every Godin guitar. For amplified acoustic players, the Multiac series offers a variety of methods to achieve multiple voicings, from under-bridge transducers, body transducers and 15-pin synth outputs. The Multivoice solid-body series gives electric guitarists a universe of sounds via magnetic pickups, acoustic transducer, or hexaphonic 15-pin synth output.
For those who love the feel of vintage archtops, Godin’s 5th Avenue series has modernized the design, and added Godin’s versatility. Pickup options include TV Jones, P9D, and Godin’s custom designed pickups. Models with Bigsby vibrato tailpieces include roller bridges for stable intonation.
Godin guitars continue to evolve and shake up the industry through modern designs, thoughtful refinement and a commitment to handwork. Moore Guitars is proud to offer the innovation, versatility and playability of Godin guitars to our customers.
