How
do I order a Moore Guitar?
Get an idea of what you want first from our online price
page, after that just send us an e-mail with your name,
phone number and the description of the Moore guitar
you want us to build. We will call you to confirm or,

we love to talk about our guitars!
How
long will it take for my guitar to be built?
The current waiting period for your Moore guitar is
about three months. This time does increase as workload
does, but your deposit does keep your place in line.
We will give you a confirmed estimated time when you
place your order.
How
does the payment process work?
We have a three-part payment schedule. Upon placing
your order you will need to make a payment of 25% of
the cost of your guitar, which will hold your place
on the waiting list, secure your price, but is non-refundable.
The second payment will be due (25% of total cost of
your guitar) when your guitar goes into the finishing
booth. You now have 50% of your dream guitar paid for!
The third and final payment will be due when your dream
guitar is finished and will be the remaining 50% of
the cost (prior to shipment). It is important to make
timely payments to keep your placement and estimated
delivery date. If you decide to cancel your order you
will forfeit the 25% non-refundable first payment and
any extra charges for custom work done.
Tell
me about the warranty.
Guitars are covered by a limited lifetime warranty to
the original purchaser. We take a lot of pride in building
each Moore guitar. If there is a problem with one, we
want to take care of it, but we cannot be responsible
for problems resulting from mistreatment or carelessness.
All
Moore Guitars are warranted against defects in materials
and workmanship to the original owner for as long as
the Moores remain active in lutherie. Upon notice of
any defect, the Moores will repair or replace, at their
option. Shipping charges to and from the authorized
repair facility are the responsibility of the customer.
Damage due to normal wear and tear, abuse, neglect,
extremes of temperatures, humidity or natural disasters
are not covered under warranty. Natural cracking or
fading of wood or finishes due to changes in temperature,
humidity, or direct sunlight is not covered under this
warranty. Settling of the finish is considered "normal
use" and is not covered by warranty. Hardware not
manufactured by Moore Guitars (ex. pick-up systems,
cases) will be subject to the warranty of the original
manufacturer of the item. Unauthorized repairs or alterations
may void your Moore guitar warranty. To ensure your
rights under the warranty, please fill out and return
the registration card that came with your guitar within
thirty days.
Periodic maintenance is the responsibility of the owner
and is a condition of warranty. We strongly recommend
using a guitar humidifier.
How
do I register my Moore Guitar?
When you receive your Moore Guitar is should arrive
with an owner's manual, basic care kit, and registration
card. If you have lost/misplaced your card, contact

days to help ensure that your guitar is protected under
our warranty.

sort of satisfaction guarantee do Moore Guitars come
with?
Here at Moore Guitars your satisfaction is our number
one priority. If you receive your guitar and feel that
it is not the guitar you want, you may return it. You
have a 48-hour approval period to return the guitar
back to us (shipped fully insured) and in exactly the
same condition when it left our shop. Depending on your
reason for returning the guitar we will either build
you another, putting you on the next starting group
or we will sell your guitar and upon it's sale, return
your money minus the 25% non-refundable portion and
all shipping charges that apply. If you have any customized
work done on your guitar, the price for labor and parts
will be deducted from your refund to cover cost. If
there is damage to the guitar that occurred during shipping,
repair charges will be deducted from your refund. Loss
and or shipping damage will be referred to the carrier.
