The current waiting period for your Moore guitar is about three months. This time does increase as workload does, but your deposit does keep your place in line. We will give you a confirmed estimated time when you place your order.

How does the payment process work?
We have a three-part payment schedule. Upon placing your order you will need to make a payment of 25% of the cost of your guitar, which will hold your place on the waiting list, secure your price, but is non-refundable. The second payment will be due (25% of total cost of your guitar) when your guitar goes into the finishing booth. You now have 50% of your dream guitar paid for! The third and final payment will be due when your dream guitar is finished and will be the remaining 50% of the cost (prior to shipment). It is important to make timely payments to keep your placement and estimated delivery date. If you decide to cancel your order you will forfeit the 25% non-refundable first payment and any extra charges for custom work done.

Tell me about the warranty.
Guitars are covered by a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. We take a lot of pride in building each Moore guitar. If there is a problem with one, we want to take care of it, but we cannot be responsible for problems resulting from mistreatment or carelessness.

All Moore Guitars are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship to the original owner for as long as the Moores remain active in lutherie. Upon notice of any defect, the Moores will repair or replace, at their option. Shipping charges to and from the authorized repair facility are the responsibility of the customer.
Damage due to normal wear and tear, abuse, neglect, extremes of temperatures, humidity or natural disasters are not covered under warranty. Natural cracking or fading of wood or finishes due to changes in temperature, humidity, or direct sunlight is not covered under this warranty. Settling of the finish is considered "normal use" and is not covered by warranty. Hardware not manufactured by Moore Guitars (ex. pick-up systems, cases) will be subject to the warranty of the original manufacturer of the item. Unauthorized repairs or alterations may void your Moore guitar warranty. To ensure your rights under the warranty, please fill out and return the registration card that came with your guitar within thirty days.
Periodic maintenance is the responsibility of the owner and is a condition of warranty. We strongly recommend using a guitar humidifier.
